well ive been using the sony xperia nozomi for about 5 months now...but the feeling never gets old. The Xperia s does pack the Snapdragon S3 processor which is slower than this years latest S4 processor but it wont hold you back its even hardly noticeble. After the release of the new Android platform ICS 4.0.4..the phone has much faster and almost no lags at all!! talking about the pro features are the Sony timescape UI social integration ....the music app with alot to show for including sony's unlimited video, music downloads etc...and the in bulit 26GB of internal memory is far enough than having another expandable memory..trust me..>.> and the Best Feature Of The Sony lineup is having the HD reality display with Mobile BRAvia engine...the colors are mesmerizing.. if u are a gamer ...this phone isnt half bad to try all the latest games in the 4.3" inch HD display...in addition of the Playstation Certification...in camera details honestly ...the 12mp shooter aint much to bargain for :/ ..overrall the details arent as you would imagine ...and the WORST part OF ALL you gotta deal with is the BATTERY lIFe ....overall it would last for a day..JUST 1 DAy...and then again back to charging..its kinda frustrating sometimes..

Other than the battery life and the Late processor specs and the camera aint worth the talk....its a great phone...BEST SUITED for all MULTIMEDIA and SOCIAL lovers out there...Sony Xperia Lineup Is Your BEST CHOICE... \m/

Scrolling through homescreens are by no means laggy anymore. Web browsing speed has also improved as well as the camera. yes, S4 processor is faster than S3 but is hardly noticeable in real life.People should compare Xperia S running ICS 4.0.4 latest firmware version with other phones rather than comparing it while it is still on Gingerbread 2.3.7 while others phones being compared are all running ICS 4.0.4.

After you updats to the latest ICS 4.0.4 version 6.1.A.2.45. which was out recently, all the above problem will be gone. I have update mine and the 3 buttons at the bottons are very responsive now. Battery life is also good, it last more than a day under normal use. Camera has been improved. Try it and you will see the difference.

cplover23, 07 Sep 2012i dont know what these guys are talking, do you even have t... moreI just wondering, why people always compare to S3? Why not HTC One X, or One S? Because S3 is THE MOST POPULAR SMARTPHONE TODAY! Not saying that it's perfect, but it's near-perfect. We can do a dogfight if you want. Browsing in Xperia S is definitely laggy, scrolling isn't smooth. Right? Be honest to yourself. S3 is almost lag-free, had that phone about 2 month only saw 3 or 4 lags from all time (I used the browser quiet often though). This phone is laggy when you run in the homemscreen right? especially when there's a live wallpaper glowing behind. S3 bested the dual-core Snapdragon S4 which is about 2 or 3 times faster than Snapdragon S3, so don't speak about that. Now screen, honestly, I own the Xperia Arc. I really love that display, although I like the GS3 more because it's sharper. But Xperia S is different. I really love the display, I like it more than the S3 (except for the viewing angle). S3 has a terrible outdoor visibility (GSMArena, you're wrong), while Xperia S is actually one of the best. But screen wise, I still think One X is the best. Camera, not to say this is bad by any means but, actually, besides the megapixels, the GS3 bested this in most thing. I write this, as fair as I can, just keep that in your mind. I like Samsung, I like Sony, I like Nokia, I hate Apple, so you know I don't hate this brand.

Been 2 weeks with this phone.my dislikes are the 3 microscopic buttons at the bottom,i need a magnify glass to see them and they dont always respond.the camera doesn't seem like 12 mp.the battery is inbuilt.the screen goes black and locks when I dial a number so I can't hang up .the battery is very weak like everyone says.apart from my dislikes it's just another android phone..can't really brag about it.

i have xperia s and i find it really good! though focus on camera during low light is hard but i found a solution to that problem and now i cant complain about this phone..this is awesome i have an s2 and sensation e before but this truly stand out among all. the screen is also brilliant compared to amoled screens and i had a comparison of this over my uncles s3 and find this more premium and more elegant than the s3 and the screen of the s3 is good and sharp but colors are sharper and more realistic on the xperia s, also s3 is too big. performance wise the s3 is faster when browsing but just a few seconds faster and for me thats not a big deal.soon enough xperia s will be like nexus ang i bet s3 fanboys will be jealous when xperia s got the latest software first... kudos to sony! sony is the only company who updates phones unlike samsung who release too many phones and support just few of it..
