When I bought my Sony Xperia S I immediately updated to ICS and its not laggy, my battery last long now after I turned off everything like gps and data transfer except the sounds for call and text notifications, Im happy now with my Sony X S's battery and Im even more prouder that I own a Sony than any other brands that has Ss also hahaha. V have a nice day smile :)

I think by september Sony Xperia S will step down on its throne since Sony mint is coming I think if thats the next.

It works everytime for me and if you are rooted, use titanium backup !! Doing a hard reset will solve the lag issue and if it still doesn't, download sony update service and repair your phones ICS.. Will work like a charm..
And i would suggest all of you to flash to 6.1.A.1.58 turkey generic stock ICS (it would not void your warranty and its easy, no risks :)).. It is the latest ICS released by Sony and it is relatively bug free.. Phone has amazing battery and smoothness. Go try it out !!

This phone is laggy (I don't have this but I've tried and really not pleased with the performance). And Sony always lack of software support.

It drains out completely in 10 to 12 hours. It got better after ics update.. Well if I play games on this essentially temple run and angry birds it drains off faster... Well I had sgs2 seen sgs3, I reckon I got the best one available.. And probably I would buy acro s when it's available here.. That shows I am completely satisfied with Sony.. Peace

Hey guys I bought this fone 5 days ago. And it's run ics... So awesome.. My only problem is battery it drained fast but becoz it's pretty cool it's OK coz I'm heavy user...THANK YOU SONY

Samsung Galaxy S3's Jelly Bean OS has already leaked and perhaps in few weeks it will be available. SXS was released March but we never heard anything yet about Jelly Bean OS while GS3 was only released in June but Jelly Bean for GS3 is already around the corner. I just hope Jelly Bean for SXS is ready before end of September 2012 so that worldwide availability will start mid-October week of October.

Power+ volume down for screen shot is not working properly with ics 4.0.4.
You can also check the web for this. Though it might be working on other set.
Also
power+ volume up is for reset.
