I had Samsung Galaxy S(chosen over Xperia X10 mainly because of SAMOLED screen, 2 years ago) before and currently have SXS along with Samsung Wave. I was originally thinking of getting the HTC One X few months back, but after a lot of internet study and checking out HTC One X, Sony Xperia S, Samsung Galaxy Note (GS3 was yet to launch) myself at demo stores, I went for SXS. So much for being called a Sony fanboy!
Now, back to topic.. Dude there was no need for such explanation as I already know everything you mentioned about Sony UI as well as Samsung UI (and yeah i'm talking about SGS3). Oh, and btw the SXS ICS is very different from Xperia pro/any 2011 device UI!But, have you used/owned any Samsung android phone? Perhaps, then you might not have said anything about its UI! I have already explained to u why i prefer SXS to GS3, and i can go on and on now.. but i think its pointless!
Let's stick to the camera.. I do agree that SXS camera has higher noise than say SGS3 camera in low light conditions when using auto mode, but you sould know that it still has higher details and better colour! And with perfect settings the noise can be minimised (which i have mentioned to someone before on this thread). Also you should know that in normal daylight the SXS camera blows away any other mobile camera performance with its stunning details n rich colour (sometimes even as good as my Canon Powershot SX 210IS)! Ok about zooming.. i know noise reduction could be better on SXS by better post-processing of the raw image, but its still better than HTC OneX which are way too grainy (due to oversharpening). Also, grain in a fully zoomed pic is visible on a non HD/ normal pc screen and not on SXS screen or any HD screen (e.g on my HDTV). Samsung has better noise reduction but owing to its inferior details and pretty washed-out colours (also lower resoultion) as compared to SXS, I would still say overall SXS camera is better!
And fyi, Sony can capture green grass/blue sky/brown hills without any black spots on 100% zoom unlike Xperia pro!!
About screen, I have used both SAMOLED/HD and Sony bravia screens and can confirm that the SAMOLED has better contrast (esp black) and viewing angles, but SXS has better/vibrant/natural looking/bright colours and is very crispy (342ppi)enabling one to read smallest desktop website fonts without zooming, and better sunlight legibility at lowest as well as max brightness! So, overall i say SXS screen is better!
Yes, i agree touch buttons require getting used to, but thats no problem after a while esp after latest updates!
I'm getting a feeling that you really hate Sony and are hellbent at opiniating people against it! You highlight all the positives about SGS3/Camera while hiding all the negatives & vice-versa for SXS, calling/assuming every other person (justifying Sony/SXS) a fanboy!

is it true for what i see? there is no Memory Card Slot? only the internal 32mb to 1gb is the available data space?

Updated half a day back to ICS. people should have patience and not to disturb/ tinker with the phone while update is going on . Because, in the course of update, the update bar sometimes appear stationary as huge process is going on inside. Have patience.

Just went to buy this awesome phone, but came to know from retailer that it don't have 3G vidocalling.IOS 6 also going to add this feature. Shocked when came to knw lack of such basic feature. What Sony?

It's looking good. But improve some feature like taking photos 5,10,20 ETC at a single click.call recorder options, video zooming. Increase sound volumes
