Got my ICS update. Truly awesome notification and design . but my is not working. what shall i do now ?. pls help

Well, ICS Album feature is great,,and hell, if you want to change profile pic from social network etc, the album picker is not sorted by folder. This is very annoying when you have lots of pics in album. So u have to scroll down and search it one by one. Wish this could be better.

Guys those who are in a dilemma whether to upgarde to ICS or not, I would say just have a look below:
Pros:
1. New Apps like Walkman, Album, Movies which are very good imo.
2. Faster UI.
3. Improved camera esp. Video quality.
4. Fast and smooth web browsing/srolling
5. Many new ICS features like face unlock etc.
6. Other things as shown in various videos regarding ICS on SXS.
Issues/Bugs: This ICS release is Full of bugs:
1. Force closing of various Apps including Camera, Default Launcher, etc.
2. Lag while rotation/changing orientation of screen, Lag while opening of various apps like ES file explorer.
3. Lag while opening the phone Dialler, and sometimes even FC of dialler app, which is annoying imo.
4. Camera quicklaunch fails at times.
5. Wi-Fi signal drop issues (not experienced by me but reported by many).
6. Bug in timer app, Mobile bravia engine not working for pics in album, Calendar showng wrong dates/birthdays, etc.
So, to sum it up ICS is faster with some amazing new apps and features but all the experience is actually spoilt by these issues. It seems like more of a beta ICS release imo! Hope sony fixes them fast, coz I really like ICS on my SXS, which at present is highly unreliable in comparison to rocksolid/highly optimised GB!

[deleted post]I tried disabling data usage and wifi.
Just normal usage with messaging and calling even then it drains too faster.
Wifi Direct is missing.
I upgraded expecting wifi direct.
I mailed sony about this issue no reply from them even after three days.
1.5 ghz with dual core But too slow comparing with live walkman.
I feel my money is wasted.
I prefer to roll back to 2.3.7.
Only thing satisfied with ICS is supports tamil font.

And yea I just got another doubt when I took a demo of the phone, when you zoom in(100%) on a picture(any pic for that matter), I realized that the pixels doesn't get arranged, as in that pixelation error exist in spite of the phone having a dedicated GPU, why is that so? Is there a way out?

Just upgraded to ics it just awesome. Sound quality had become far better. And the browser is also performing better

I think majority who updated to ICS feel SXS is slower than the previous GB which I agree. I notice especially transition like screen to other screen pane as you can see widgets are opening few seconds. What Sony really did a good job is the ICS for Xperia Arc. My Xperia Arc is so smooth and fast with ICS and I don't see any lag especially those widgets on my Xperia Arc. I just hope Sony would release a firmware update to fix this lag that most of us experience.
