Anyone experiencing bad battery life, can go for the 6.0.a.3.73 update, thats released recently... I updated my mine yesterday.. Works great..

one of the dumbest phone i ever seen... not at all worth for 30K+... the two thing that is better is inbuilt memory (32gb) and Camera.... otherwise even 10k phone is better than this....
The main disadvantage are:
1. No direct video call option in 3g network.. for which u have to install skype or fring and then login through it and then u can make 3g video call...
2. Battery Back up... u have to charge the battery 3 times a day...
Other disadvantage:
1. Doesn't support all video format other than mp4 or avi.. u have to install mxplayer or any other software to watch movies...
2. The clarity of the video is also not good...
3. 5 home screen (mandatory), cannot b reduced or increased, which is unnecessary, bcoz of which u cant keep any home screen wallpaper of your wish...
4. Ringtone sound is very low...
My personal opinion Pls dont buy this phone not worth it.....

Hello !
I bought this phone last week and is great ! excellent pictures, really fast amazing , nice processor, shape & other thing ,.but i am not satisfied with battery life early discharging eventhough in stand by & i couldnt got battery life as company specification , and whenever browsing net at time so many application open itself and consumed battery frequently i have to stop manualy thats running application , so how to solved thats additional application run for itself except browse application have any idea those who using xperia s

AnonD-56145, 24 May 2012i sugest you the sony xperia S its a way better phone beter... morelove my sony xperia s only had it since 17th may 2012 and i now only use me pc for one game the rest on my phone scree is relly HD and games are sick i got min hmdi wich i use all the time it a grate phone only let down i have is my battery only last 4hr whit hard gaming and films other than that it upgrade abluel to ics 4.0 end of this mouth oe beging on net mouth its better than my brothers phone he got gs2

The sxs battery does'nt really last compared to the note and I have friends that are using arc battery also does'nt last very well so maybe that is something sony needs to put in their to do list. To sony fans out there. It is really one of the great smart phones out there.

I bought this phone for like a month now and its really a good phone,my first android actually,and I love it..pictures are very clear and crisp a lot diferent than the galaxy note,which is my 2nd android,both phones are great actually.there are features that one have and the other one does"nt.the battery for my sxs last longer if I use the note charger on it.speakers are better in the sxs than note.pictures both vry good but in there respective way.bigger screen does have an advantage.both works fast and supports video calls for skype.

Vipul, 24 May 2012Yes, it requires Micro SIM but your normal SIM can easily b... more@Vipul, I am frm Bangalore and i bought it 3 days ago.... mine takes 2-3 hours to charge completely and heats near the camera lens when i play games for about 20 mins... is it common with all Xperia S and will this be sorted out after using it regularly for few weeks ???

Hey guys....... got my phone 3 days back and it is workin perfectly.... first day - 6hrs battery life ------- second day - 13 hrs------- now - i am able to go thro one day comfortably......... but it takes a 2-3 HOURS to charge 100 %...... how much does it take for your phone to charge ????? and After playing games for 15-20 mins, it heats near the camera lens..... will these problems be sorted out aftr a few weeks of regular use ????

2 - Very shot battery life for 1750 mAh... it could
have been 2000mAH at least... :(

I bought this phone this week and is great ! excellent pictures, really fast amazing !
I live in US and my service provider use 1700mhz for 3g and I just noticed that this phone cannot support that band. Do you thing is there a way to make it work? or maybe with an OS upgrade ? I love this phone but it was 600$ for not using 3 or 4g.
