in my opinion, xs is better than s2 because it has been released after the s2 by several months which means that sony tried to avoid the cons of the s2 in the xs. personally, i'm a samsung hater and i don't want to buy a samsung mobile because of their worst support on the entire planet.

check gsmarena reviews of both phone and compare image quality by yourself also do not forget to check the benchmark comparison.
each phone of the two has advantages over the other choose the phone that fits your need.
the problem here is that some people are only promoting for the phones they do not tell u the cons of the phones for an example samsung fans will tell galaxy s2 is the best while sony fans will tell u xperia s is the best phone.
for me i know the better phone but i can not tell u because then i will be attacked ;)

Have been using this fone for last 6 days...and i still cant get over it....amazing feeling...the capacitive button are responsive if used wisely and not like APES....screen is sharp and bright...battery drains fast but also charges quickly compared to my bro's SGS2....synching FB works beautifully....used it a lot but i havent got tht yellow thing on the screen maybe i didn heat it so much to cook eggs on it.....I would Rate it 100 times better than all Samsung range of fones..

guys never ever try to bye. , I mean yellow tints ... they suck i got it 4 days b4. and I regret ... it was better to wait for gs3. .. ( yecks tints ) on lower side of my phone....:-(

Those idiots in the Sony Service Center have upgraded my Xperia S to ICS . But my actual complaint was yellow tint in the screen when it turns hot.... OMG!! what an intelligent brains Sony has Hired for its service centers!!!!! :P
