AnonD-48105, 27 Mar 2012could you tell me more about the battery life of xperia S??... moreHi. Battery is what I have been struggling with the most. The Display uses the most by FAR!. I would turn down to less than half way. The brightness is still ok to see in full daylight. I think the battery is still getting into use and has been improving all the time.
Camera is fantastic in daylight use. Still need to test in the evening with Flash properly.

does this phone have skype application and its secondary camera can take pictures also? tnx..

The only problem or rather the only drawback is that you can not leave the battery yourself if you want to change if there is a spare battery and the other this very defective , also why SIM card it's very small , by the way all middle east SIM card are standard so why this small ، i have to cut the SIM card to put inside phone ??!!!

I just hope every units available Riyadh does not have that problem (I'm a Sony(Ericsson smartphones user, including Sony appliances).

The texts in websites are crisp and clear and you will not see any individual pixels or jagged edges in the texts even if you maximize zooming on the page.
I browsed the web about this yellow tint issue and indeed there were some units with this kind of problem. The unit that I have does not have this. I compared the XPS's screen side by side with the SGS2's screen, and the latter's screen have this bluish tint. The bluish tint of the SGS2 is very noticeable when browsing the net. So far I am very impressed and happy with my XPS and like what I've said before, its worth every penny.

Since you are using your unit for few days now, did you notice any yellow tint below on the Home Screen? There are compaints that few units got this yellow tint especially when browsing the internet. let me make 1 thing clear here, samsung as an electronic company can never in this life compete with sony in terms of innovation and durability. My people, its gonna take much more than a fancy and colourful screen phone for samsung to touch my money.

ss, 28 Mar 2012The phone great , UI is nice but lagy .I've been using the Xperia S for 2 days now and I still have to experience the lag you've been talking about, so far its the smoothest Android phone I've had. Its even smoother and faster than my previous phone, Galaxy S2.

Everybody sow excited and now one !!! Didn't say how difficult to use this phone with one hand ( terrible power boton ) , to read SMS or imail very difficult ( tiny fonts ) , camera is perfect outside but not at home. I don't say it's bad phone but in my personal !!! opinion new nexus is more user friendly . Sorry for my English , I am from Belgium .
My personal opinion that SXS is not ready for big brothers competition .

I wana purch... moreMy SGS2 lasts for about 1 day with 15-10% juice left, while my Xperia S lasts for about 1 day and a half or 2 days with around 5-10% left.
My usage is basic. Wifi for about 50-60% of the time the phone is on, calling, messaging, Skype, gaming for 1 hour or so everyday and taking pictures/videos. Sometimes I even connect my XS to TV via HDMI.
