I really in love with Sony S but i always got negative feed backs about the Sony S,my wife is using S2 and find it very convenient and slim,i getting a phone bt confused either one to choose,any recommendation? i not a heavy user type.

The phone charges long... My xperia S vharges for about 2 hrs... AND t really drains quick

Hey guys
had this phone jst under a week now and its been ok so far, the captive buttons arnt great mainly due to the fact you have to aim just above the dots to get the best reponse, if you go any below it wont react.
another problem with this phone is the screen unlock button is was to high making one hand use almost impossible, it would be much better if the volume key was used to unlock the sceen ( i know i can download an app to do this but makes battery worse)
ALL OF THE ABOVE I CAN LIVE WITH BUT NOW WE COME TO THE MAIN POINT. the batter life on this phone is one of the worst i have ever seen and its directly linked to the screen. if you use the screen alot e.g gaming or web surfing or taking pics/videos then it will last about 8 hours 10 if your lucky. and too make it last you find yourself turning down screen brightness to around 30-40% and not playing as many games on it ect and then you think to your self one of the main points of getting this phone was the screen and now i cant use it to its max potential.....very disapointing
if battery was better would have recomened this phone but not now

Hi guys, I've had my Xperia S for about 2 weeks now, and it's the most amazing phone I've ever had. Just a collective tip for everyone regarding the battery. It's better to drain it completely before charging as it helps improve the longetivity. Also, McAffee Mobile Security is installled by default and that consumes about 10% more battery usage. Another thing that drains a the battery life a LOT are the apps with ads since it uses wifi and a location locator to specify which ad to show. It's best you just turn off background data traffic(under Account&sync settings)) to make your phone last much longer! Kuddos everyone

Bought it. Love it. Perfect on all accounts. Though I still think the Xperia Arc is the best looking phone ever made.

bob, 20 Mar 2012can i sync my itunes to this handset? if not then bum :( i... moreItunes? people still use that? sorry for the joke, but... most of people don't like itunes because the way it organizes your files and you must Use lybaries to sync, people prefeer insteed the drag and drop files like a usb stick. I use drag n drop or winamp or even windows media player. works like a charm. peace

The conection is only in MTP mode, i tried to connect to my car (alpine) but no device detected, this weekend i will try in my GF car (sony)

kooks, 20 Mar 2012beautiful handset but has a screen glass which gets scratch... moreThe screen on this phone commes already with a scree protector, that's why you see scratchs. And sony as super resistent screens also, try to see some videos on youtube about xperia activa. seach before post without knowledge.

The only thing i have against it is the battery for heavy user like me is a day am on internet most of the time.
