Hey Guys need your answer on this, who are impressed with Xperia S.
What about rendering the image when you zoom in. It does not give the details. This is too bad..

And talking about 1.5 dual core Qualcomme better than 1.2 Exynos i can call it the best joke ever because 900 mhz dual core Exynos is better than 1.5 dual core Qualcomme and if you don't believe me check the T-Mobile SGS2 which is have Qualcomme is way slower and more laggy than AT&T version and the quadrant proves too Exynos is the best chip ever.
And you forget to mention the microsd SGS 32or16+64=96or70 vs 32 internal only!
And as the Gsmarena review the camera quality is equal except in the wide of the image and the size not the quality
In my opinion SGS2 is better and cheaper also its older.

a phne without micros sd slot is much faster tahn a phone with external memory
for e.g even if the sony X.S had tha same processor as tha SGS2 with same gpu,it would have been more faster
for all those that are saying SGS2 is faster than sony X.S, then u r simply a sammy boy

In other sense Sony Xperia S is better than Samsung Galaxy S 2 in performance :

I made compare between sony and galaxy.
the screen in sony better to much than galaxy.

the one thing i really don't like is the cpu, it's the same cpu on old Sensation line MSM8260 = slow, very power hungry. 1750mAh won't be enough for such cpu and screen, and the speed is not impressive at all.
I love Sony products but why do they always choose almost outdated cpus for their flagship phone? it's like they are always one generation behind. This leads to LARGE price cut shortly after the phone is released because of competition. Sony phones get outdated and loose value so fast and customers can't be happy about that.

TBH:
first of all, that Micro simcard and no Micro SD is very personal opinion and nothing more.
Second, that black is just black not pure black what you can find in the Amoled screens but just black real live black as it shut be.
Third the GPU lagghing UI is pure nonsens i have not single lag discover, and so many other Xperia S users claim no lag in the UI.
My conclusion is you are just a Sammy fanboy who wants talk bad about the Xperia S to give SG2 credit.
Also i bet you don't have a Xperia S, so play with your Samsung phone and be happy, don't try you have a Xperia S.

tbh this xperia isnt as good as I thought it would be...
main issues I feel hurt the handset is the lack of a micro sd, the fact it uses a micro sim, the GPU, (really noticeable lags when browsing on the UI), and the screen.
the screen is beautifully clear but the black colour production is grey...its not black, its grey.
i wouldve expected the first Sony handset to have had a really nice bright yet vivid screen on it, and instead, as beautiful as the handset looks, just the little niggles like the colour production, the UI stutter and the lack of micro sd still leaves me to prefer my S2.
otherwise i'd give this Xperia a 7 out of 10.
an excellent handset yet could be better :(
