i have xperia play now , but this phone Xperia S is great , i think the best one among the android phones , and the highest features , maybe i should change to Xperia S

By draining the battery fully and charging it while the phone is off, is the best way to ensure to maximize some 500 life charging cycles of each battery. The charging of the battery, ie current going into the battery produces some by-product chemical that accumulates over every charging that lessens the battery's capacity to hold on stirred power. So therefore, the less number of times you charge, the more longer the battery unit your battery will retain power.
I happen to cycle 3 batteries, switching from one to the other after fully draining. I charge the the drained battery with a desktop charger. This means I have my phone virtually unplugged most of the time instead of being stuck waiting for it to fully charge.
I see people with fixed battery phones having to buy those power phone jackets thickening their units. Those will actually shorten the internal battery as toy are virtually plugged in, ie, current constantly going in to the internal battery.
Having a removable battery makes more sense. And carrying an extra battery it's not such a big hassle. Just look at this Sony phone model specs, it's less than half the battery stamina of other premium phones. And they designed it with a fixed battery? And you would bother going to the technicians to replace it once it does not charge anymore? What's dumb now?

Hi guys wats the price in usd.wanted to buy the sensation xe.but saw this phone and thought it would be worth the wait.
Saw it people comparing to iphones.according to me iphone is no where near the xperia s.
Iphone too has micro sim,inbuild memory,undetachable battery,without xenon flash,but sells great.
So this phone is also goin to sell like hot cakes.eagerly waiting this is gonna be my 1st android phone.

I thought so, about the flash, how I also wish it had brighter flash but nevertheless its a phone not a camera. I wonder when will it be available in asia

suji, 16 Feb 2012 i think this phone does'nt have facility of replacing batt... moreReal Dumb case, the battery can still be replace like iphone, just that you need to have the battery replaced by technician, incase you do not know how to do it, why on earth you want to take out the battery frequently, do you carry a spare battery all the time ? try take out the battery frequently & you would really need to replace the phone in a year.

I think sony won't be installing xenon flash because they still have a market for cameras / digicams, maybe it will greatly affect these product in terms of sales

mobile phone is suppose to be a portable, which we can carry on a pocket, but this like huge size, light weight brick that we cannot put in a pocket, hmm so sadd.
