    no microSD, no me.
with all these high end multi-media features, the internal memory will be gone in no time flat.
they need microSD, especially with the 64GB card ready to hit mainstream.

the hunter, 11 Jan 2012wow!! Great phone.hope it beats the gs2.No, it will not "beat" the Galaxy S II simply because the Sony Xperia S has a shorter battery longevity on one charge. Read the differences. Was expecting more, Sony.

Akh, 11 Jan 2012None of the other phones can give the QUALITY ..... good jo... moreNot a good job with the battery usage time. No micro SD memory expansion. Only a backlit super dense LCD and not an HD AMOLED. Unchangeable battery. I'm an Android user, and why does the Sony Xperia S feel like it's sort of getting some weak features of the iPhone?

True that I would like to see a good working 12MP camera and the built-in HDMI socket are definite turn ons. With the battery usage longevity indicated, it would seem the operation of this phone would be roughly 4 to 5 hours of heavy usage. Just compare it against any other Android phone like the Galaxy S II and Galaxy Note which can have more than double battery stamina. Most likely it is because of the fact that the Samsung uses Super AMOLED screens for their high end phones that saves on power.

For me, the log of Sony Ericsson (the name) is better than the sony. I don't know, maybe it's just new that's why I'm not used to it. But I prefer the font of the old one. :)

Too bad there is no external memory card. Its very useful for memory hogs like me. I wont buy this phone unless ab external memory card is ibtergrated. By the way is the battery removable also?????
