I have purchased this s one month ago instead of galaxy s3. thought jelly bean update will be available on April. I contacted three times with Xperia team in USA.
the disappointed finally.

We apologize for the delay in this response. In regards to your inquiry, we understand you would like to know if Jellybean will be available for the Xperia™ S on April. Please keep in mind that this rollout, Android 4.1.2, will start on this year's second quarter, however we don’t have an exact date. Please keep in mind that software updates are released at different times depending on operator, country and purchase date. Therefore, we cannot give you an exact date for when a this update will be available for your phone once the update becomes available. We are sincerely sorry for any inconvenience this may cause you.

We never know whether to trust what members of Sony Mobile’s social media team say when it comes to firmware updates. Case in point, a few weeks back Sony Mobile Germany hinted that the Xperia S Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean firmware update would be out by the end of March. However, more recently they are now talking of a vague Q2 launch.
More often than not they are wrong when it comes to firmware timelines. We’ve seen it so many times before, a date is hinted at before it is retracted and the company line is towed. Anyway, as you may have noticed recently our comments section has been besieged from understandably frustrated Xperia S owners waiting for info on the Jelly Bean update.
Well to give Xperia S users hope, Sony Mobile Poland has said that the Jelly Bean update is expected to go live in the next few days according to a reply on Facebook. We wouldn’t go celebrating just yet though, given all of the above. Fingers crossed.

When i purchased my xperis S the home screen is in UI mode.
After 2 days it changed to normal mode.
How can i change that to UI mode? (when we pinch in home screen... all home screen modes will available in single screen

If the battery is 2%.
I think 90 mins is a problem.
But, u told ur phone takes 4hrs.
Check ur battery booster...

Xperia j users have recieved 4.1.2 jelly bean update!!
But of the users told me that jellybean sucks a lot of ram.. so i think it is better to wait for a week after the update gets released,wait for JB review..
