I updated my phone to .96 everything is great but Wi-Fi is not working, when I turn it on the phone tells me either to close the settings or to wait until it responds.
any body has an idea what should I do?

Just updated my SL to .96 it runs so smooth now no lags in games even asphalt 7 and gta vice city and the keyboard now is lag free thanks sony!

Hi, im from Myanmar and i already updated my SL with 6.2.b.1.96 software. Noticed the responsiveness of the phone when scrolling and opening an application. And also new command for the home button is working. internet via 2G is a little fast and stable at the moment(not yet tested during the peak hours).

We’ve started rolling out the maintenance release for Xperia S, Xperia SL & Xperia acro S*.
After making Android JB 4.1 available for these smartphones, we received feedback on a few issues within the build. We’re keen to ensure that all our software is as good as it can possibly be, so we’ve addressed these & improved on a few things…
Along with performance and stability tweaks / improvements, here’s a changelog (of sorts) detailing what’s fixed and included:
For camera, we’ve…
addressed an abnormality in the white balance
improved the “Quick Launch” button functionality
smoothed out (1080p) video recording, minimizing lag
For apps, services & data, we’ve…
streamlined Exchange Active Sync, particularly when running an encrypted set-up
boosted connection stability for 2G network data
ensured preferences on 3rd party apps remain after reboot – not a common problem, but we understand it can be a frustrating one!
For battery, we’ve…
economised power consumption, and heat dispersion for longer life
corrected juice level notifications, especially when running low
And for hardware & UI, we’ve…
introduced a home key long-press to launch Google Now, and a double-press to launch Recent Apps
made sure the volume “up” button is fully responsive

Hi friends. Today i have flashed my xperia S with new firmware 6.2.B.1.96. After using it for 5 hours i am happy to say that all previous bugs reported earlier are fixed. I have not tested the 2G connectivity as i dont have data plan. Apart from that everything is fine. So go for it

HEEEEEEEEEELP!!! I updated my Sony SL to JB 4.1.2 it worked very well after I updated it but after a couple of hours I wanted to use my phone but it's not working at all..
note: I tried to plug it into my PC and I tried to plug it into the charger but it's not working... what should I do???

Mimo11, 22 Jul 2013Hello Guys Two weeks ago i have upgraded my device to J... moreXperia Jb has lot of issues i gues,, mine drains too.. its been only 2 weeks i got the phone and battery with JB really disapointed me,, i downgraded my phone to 2.3.7 and the battery last 1 day for sure.. when i do normal cals or text without much browsing it lasts 22 hrs range.. so if u r not worried about ur warranty i sugest u to downgrade,, try ics first.. take care..
