As for me I'm facing some issues with my device ..they are not a big deal.. But I'm making a list so i can find out how to solve them and help others with it :)

Well heating up is a normal thing in any phone.. But i agree that the xperia sl heats up more than some other phones.. But its always within the limits cause it dedicates that the CPU is working hard as u open some heavy apps..
Tbh its not a problem to me.. All u have to do is to decrease the pressure on ur phones RAM by uninstalling unneeded apps..
Some guy once gave me 2 tips to solve such a problem : 1- drain ur battery till ur phone shuts down itself then recharge it for 3 hours or more.. Do it a couple of times.. It will be helpful.
2-the more u use the phone ( playing games, browsing, other) the more powerful ur phone will be and the less heat u get from the CPU
Heating up is not a serious issue unless it crosses the limit of
35-40 degrees celecuis.. And in that i recommend giving ur phone to Sony for repairs or replacement..

one more question :) if opening fb or youtube the phone will overheating ? or all app be opened will make the phone overheating ?

I bought this phone for a month now this phone is awesome hd screen good cpu and ram and ... the only problem is the battrey, the heating is normal u cant play a huge game and expect that the phone must have the same heat as before for a 350 $ i think its the best.

1- remove ur sim card then insert it again.
2- preform a factory reset.
3-try changing the firmware by rooting ur phone.
3- force a restart to ur phone by pushing the start key and the volume up key at the same time.
4- start ur phone in safe mode by long pressing on the home key after u start ur phone.. Till u feel 2 vibrations
Any of the above should help.. If non then contact Sony customer service for repairs or replacement.

i have got Xperia SL and it gets heat up by playing game for few minutes!! what seems to be the issue, please help..

this phone is i dont know if it would be great or what so ever ive already have this phone my issue in this sony xperia sl... overheating when playing a game and the battery performance is poor i always charge this phone twice or 3 times a day it consumes to much battery when playing s game... i dont know what to do with this phone.. even if in stand by only or not playing any games the battery consumes is to much ive installed battery savers in google play to have to slow down the battery consumption of this phone.... its a great phone but the issue is the phone battery performance and the overheating
