sid, 05 Nov 2012im planning to buy sony xperia sola.....please tell me good... morei would go for Sony Xperia J at the moment. Similar phone, but little bit better body of the phone and ICS from the box. Front camera is the bonus.
Sola lacs battery life, older android in most countries, back cover is plastic, bottom of the phone is plastic, which could break.
Otherwise i am satisfied 5 months user with 107g thin phone, goes god with my casual jacket and also with work suit. I am not a gamer, phone works good for me.

dont buy this please..most crappy phone ever..sony is making fool with good images and promotion..but phone is very buggy and touch is also not good..u cant even slide to unlock properly..very bad and waste of money!!

Hi all, I've been using my Sola for 2mth already. Despite all negative comment on the phone I still go for it and till today it's the best phone I ever had (not pricey though). I upgrade to ICS few days a go and the floating touch works like magic. For the battery, it can go for 1 1/2 day with average use of internet and gaming. With ICS it become more powerful than gingerbread. FYI: to reboot the Sola press shutdown button and volume up button on the same time.

jojo, 01 Nov 2012Buy an alienware laptop..I agree with you jojo. To the person looking for such phone. Wait a few years until you can hope to do such things (at the same time) on a phone. Even expensive phones lag on multitasking. I recommend you however right now a phone with >= 1,5 MHz CPU, 2GB RAM and a 2500 mAh battery among other important features.

Then your PC will handle your phone as an usb flash drive and list your device under my pc / computer. However I suggest you to download the pc companion for major upgrades. Bye.

Its great phone at this price having lots of features it feel cool and stylish in hand just battery is not efficient.

ya it is a good set...good speed....big display....enough internal mamery...but one thing that is how to remove its battery...?

Ramy, 02 Nov 2012I cann't update to ICS coz Pc companioin can't detect my so... moreb4 connecting go to settings then manage applications then press tab all running and then find an application named mtp. press tab clear all data and then connect it it will detect ur phone now..and this bug will be fixed ven u upgrade to ics.and for upgrade u hav to upgrade manually by downloading ics firmware and flashing it onto ur device by flashing tool,u can download both from google and directions how to install as well..i did the same and i updated it successfully..

They will start again when you tap to use them. Use `force stop` to stop them again if you don`t want to use them again for some time.

Sony xperia sola works fine for me ,i use it more than 4 months and i have not faced any problem so far. with the latest update (ics) works faster and it doesn't lagg, great phone in low price ,i could not ask somethink more than that ....(great display quality).

i'm from philippines u can upgrade ur phone via pc companion or thru SEUS search it in google...
