I changed to GSM ONLY MODE in network settings. This was d most imp step. Plus I used to wait until my battery goes down 20% before recharging. Most of d time I followed d same for one month. Actually I had lost d hope abt my battery improving in performance; but surprisingly it improved drastically. Now wit moderate WiFi or data n calls I get upto 30 hrs. Continuous WiFi means around 15 hrs

i have just now bought xperia sola ,sleep to snap is not working,when i started the phone the available ram is 190 then it go on decreasing ,the battery really sucks, it is drinking like water

The rear camera is only 5MP. So, they should've inserted a front camera.

Still no ICS update, mt frieds are getting jeally bean update, but still there is no sign for ics update for sola. more over sony lags well behind in technlogy, still they dont have quad core phone, amoled screen etc., i prefer better to go for samsung,htc or motorola. my friends who are using samsung got jeally bean update also. Also in sola in gtalk it is not showing voice nad vedio calls options, also lot of apps of play store are not supporting this. really sola sucks

I removed all the apps which i installed. Now my phone battery backup drastically improved from 12 hrs to 2 days i cant believe this. But still my sola is running over 180 mb. pls pls give me a solution to solve this i tried so many apps killers. That moment its working but after few minutes its starts running...

it is 2weeks that i have bought sony sola from ebay . till now i have not found any problem .it works good .and it is better to i have used mobie earlier nokia n8 6300 c5 galaxy young and many more .screen is very good hd video plays superb with mx player .net is also good.camera is good but not very good becouse after zoom captured pix get damaged...but it is good also than n8.....we want quality and sony is perfect....sony......name is anough and you can go for ebay .... i bought it from ebay mobile accessary seller ....and i did not got nfc tags and scrach guard and leather pouch wich comes inside the box...which we see on youtube video review.....so i think you should go for sameerhf after a lng tie survey i have bought it so. i think you shuold........i paid 14130 after 10 percent discaunt ..u can get it 15200-1520~ ...................bye… bye

One V, Galaxy S... moreThere are only 3 phones comparable to Sony Xperia Sola: Sony Xperia U, HTC Desire X, Samsung Galaxy S Advance. Both Xperias have the advanced chipsets (A9) while others have lesser. But Desire X and Galaxy S Advance have more RAM and better screen. Sony and HTC will give updates atleast till Jelly Bean. Samsung hasn't even declared a ICS update. I would recommend not to buy Samsung now, they will be focusing on new flagship of phones now that Apple has affected their current phones. But Samsung will release cool and better phones early next year.
