Here're some samples of what the camera of the Sola can do
For a phone that wasn't advertised with a decent camera, the Sola is more than capable of holding its own against the extremely noise prone 2011 Exmor R FM based Xperia phones, despite its lower megapixel count
Most of the shots I took here are using the 3MP widescreen crop mode

Anonymous, 20 May 2012Battery is pathetic. Unfortunately this is one area where S... moreI agree! In fact one reason I am contemplating Xperia p over sola is because the WhiteMagic technology supposedly uses lesser battery. The 16GB-no card is a bummer there though.
I really wonder why the manufacturer's keep giving us better screens and better procs only to keep the battery as a bottle neck.

Amber, 20 May 2012Hello, I would like to know if the Sony Xperia Sola has som... moreYes... altough the battery backup is a bit low ,, It is an awersome phone !!! and also sony will be rolling out the official ICS(4.0) update recently so u can easily upgrade to 4.0 :)
Be sure to also check HTC one v , Motorola Astrix 2 or the xperia U (if u need a front facing camers)

Excellent phone! Ever since I bought it 2 days ago, I find new features that delight me. The 3d panorama feature is mindblowing. the video clarity is too good. Sweep for text input is very easy to use. The size of the phone is just perfect to hold - not too big, not too small. The white color Sola looks classy. The battery back up is quite good, for a smartphone. And the best part is the price.. Too good to be true! This is yet another sixer from Sony's team! Hurray!

I am planning to buy this phone, Can anyone tell me about the battery backup????? My usage would be 1 hour of internet, 1 to 2 hour of music, 2 hours of calls and 20 SMS to the maximum. Will the battery last for 1 full day for the above usage?????
