Just to clear a confusion over GPU, SONY Xperia Sola has DB8500 GPU.
Download the 'white paper' for Sola from official Sony website and check it yourself. White paper is nothing but document intended for developers containing detailed specifications of phone.

the floating touch feature will work only on browser or across the phone...like gallery of images, list of music...etc?

[deleted post]Actually sony itself is a expensive brand...but i love them...i'm currently using bravia tv and sony Hx9v cyber shot. . .they are awsm..
At the same price point others r giving 1Ghz single core with tft display.3.5inch(htc one V 18.2K)
800Mhz dual core,cheap plastic finish..although a better ram(768Mb) (Upcoming Galaxy Ace 2)
thats all... Those are far beyond that beast :):-):-):-):-):-):-):-)

Ace 2 is better,bcoz sola have lack of front camera,gpu,battery back up...and ofcource price will be less than 2000 or 3000 compare sola...

sum1 stated here no sony phone z perfect, na dont say that, in actual there is, sony nxt xperi s is perfect, atleast 4 me.
Nxt series r of powerful smartphones, but why sony, why z always sumthing missing. Xperia p comes with 13 gb usable memory while xperia u with just 4 gb and they r not even sporting memory expansion. Just why dont sony understand the need of memory expansion slot. And when they r out with xperia sola (with mem expansion) they became short with d hdmi connectivity, if im right u cant connect xperia sola 2 hdmi tv.
So people, i want 2 know if there is any other way 2 connect ur xperia sola to a sony bravia led.
I was just goin 2 buy this cutie peice but this hdmi stuff is holding me back.
My budjet z around 21k inr.
Im a sony fan and i dont want 2 use any other brand as only sony brings u d ultimate enterainment (best audio/camera quality, display.. . . . . .)
My sony hazel z showin display problems. Thats why i asked help from u people.

Why is it only mentioned as 'Yes' in Gprs for Xperia Sola wheres its 107kbps for Xperia U..............

Normal sim,
Removable battery
Micro sd expansion..

Mid range droid(The ultimate expensive phone i can bare)
Last but not least :-):-)
Android 4(ICS)
DUAL CORE
AVAILABLE at a good price point in INDIA.
But i'm worried about it's GPU..any1 can cnfrm me what is the GPU?
Thanx sony for providing us such a phone like this..This will be my first Android..hoping for a great user experience...
