It is odd how the tray icons have text labels even though you put them their so you know what they are. it makes them very tall so the tray takes up lots of screen space.
The 5 dotes depicting what home screen you are on also takes up an amazing amount of space for what it is.
For a 3.7" phone you would think they wouldn't have used the same UI features as their 4.3" inch phone.

It is a prototype that they test.
The Sola also does not rate well in the fluidity of web browsing. Actually on the web page used in the video 'the verge' my Defy+ looks about the same but I can not tell if they have Flash on or set to On Demand. Also I am using a faster xScope browser rather than the stock Defy+ one.
Really if this is the case then the Xperia P is going to have a hard time with the same processor pushing even more pixels.

HTC One V got a quite bad review on PocketNow for performance. What was really bad was browsing.
I hope the Xperia Sola and P come out soon so we can see how they go. I suspect they will be ok for performance (unlike the One V these being dual cores) but the big question will be around the battery and that screen on the P.
