sola is great phone in gb ics is very laggy ics have many problems so dont upgrade it to ics

Friends i had SONY Xperia SOLA, i had very bad experience with SOLA. initially i got a Charging prob, then i went to Service, no help from them. they tell me the there is IC problem, and they have order IC, and it will come soon, but even it is 3 month no response from them. Honestly almost SONY phone's are working good Until they are not got any Prob, once thay got Prob, they gone....so avoid go with SONY Xperia....

I got the phone for about 150EURO and I am very pleased. Yes, it is no Experia Z or an iPhone but a great bang for the buck. It perform pretty decent under 2.3 but I decided to do the upgrade to ICS. But the 512 MB RAM is way too small for that. It lags and you are even afraid to open any app. So I decided to ROOT it and was then able to delete all the crapware, adjust the autostart. This really helped and the performance is now pretty good. But the average user who does not gain root access should stay away from ICS. The default camera is ok, but when I shoot several pictures in a row I get a "memory error". So I am using "Camera ZOOM Fx". Works perfect now. Quality of the pictures is ok for snapshots, better at daylight than in the dark. Gaming is ok, "Real Racing" runs ok, a few laggs here and there, but no big deal. Battery lasts for about a day with regular use of Internet, Gtalk, email, Facebook and Spotify. If Sony had but 1GB RAM and a front camera, this would have been the perfect phone. Now it's just 4/5, for me at least.

I am having problem in upgrading its android version... as we all know ICS is available for Sola yet i cant upgrade to it ..whenever i try to upgrade it to 4.0..Pc companion searches for awhile n says "u hav the latest update" ..
someone please help me upgrade it
