I think different xperia sola has different problems. Mine still working fine no lagging whatsoever. Mine has no incoming call problems, no dial pad lag probs,and no earpiece speaker probs. Just dont upgrade it to GB. The battery life is okay, but barely last a day on heavy internet/wifi usage.

We bought 2 Xperia Solas. First one still runs GB and works perfectly after 2 months - a very nice phone for the price. Second one was upgraded to ICS and is now back for its second software repair by Sony - the ICS update seems to cause many, many users to have problems the same as mine, just read the blogs! It came back from first repair with GB re-installed, but WiFi and Bluetooth not working! Sony repair shop (for Australia) is taking around 3 weeks to do simple software fixes, so I have had very little use from this Sola - I'm really glad I still have my old Nokia that has never given a problem! My advice is AVOID BUYING ANY XPERIA PHONE until Sony sorts out all the software upgrade bugs!

pls don't go for Samsung galaxy duos. I'm using sola for the past 5 months and really satisfied wit the performance very nice display for watching movies and games good camera performance especially during day time and smooth android performance but the battery is average only but u can adapt to it. my friend is using galaxy duos the performance is not up to sola display is average even temple run hangs in it if ur using more than two apps surely it will hangs. go for sola u will love it

frndz if u want to buy a new android phone with gud camera, which phone would u prefer, xperia sola or samsung galaxy s duos?? Keep in mind samsung galaxy duos has front camera..advice plz..or should i go for window phone (lumia 620)

sola is best handset with sensor touch
but battery backup is not so good

excellent! It's more handy in the pocket.display not large nor too small..excellent videos n sound..still using GB..excellent pic quality. Just install juice defender n reduce brightness to maximise ur battery life. Still,i don't understand why they didn't give a jelly bean update..

We need to consider that Xperia sola is a mid range smart phone. The specs are all average. But over all very good smart phone Wen you are in a budget.

i have bought this phone jan 2013,its the worst phone ever seen ,incoming and out going voice when i am talking phone is very low, its annoying and none of the call recording apps from android are not working on this phone,so think twice before u r going to buying this one.and its os is android is gingerbread only that is also very worst feature.its hanging so many times,,please don't buy this one..

Dont buy this or dont update it. Even if you update it, dont install apps. Damn slow phone, most of the times i feel of throwing it away. Good display and better for games. But how do you feel when you answer a call, it vibrates for about 5, 6 secs before hear anything (other party also hears nothing for 1st 5, 6 seconds), Dialpad takes 5 secs to load, Messaging takes about 10 seconds to load. I tried with factory reset also, again in about 2, 3 weeks, same prob. I'm running on ICS. Battery lasts about 12-15 hours with mod use. This phone sucks. I'm going into windows phone

Usb connection is only limited to a pc.. Can't be connected to a Sony Tv and to a home theater not unless sm1 has an idea..
