shubham, 19 Jun 2014I have a query about Xperia sp I want 2 how 2 recognize is ... morepurchase the device from authorised sony centre showroom only if you doubt. That is what i did. the price in sony centre is standard and seems a bit higher than in other mobile retail shops.

My review on the .205 update:
Pros:
-Lag is gone.
-Apps are responding well.
-Screen flickering issue fixed.
Cons:
-RAM usage is still high. Mine was like 70mb free of RAM (any solutions?)
Battery life only approve slightly a bit. Not much difference.

Right now it's in a version which was available when v hd .201 software!
Totally screwed up! Now it shows no update for the latest versions of Walkman or album I even movies which I frgt to mention! Sigh

AnonD-265065, 18 Jun 2014Listen this guys, i have dowloaded PC companion, after 1 da... morebro, I hope before preparing for update your device USB connectivity mode was set to MTP.
Settings - xperia - USB connectivity - USB connection mode - MTP - OK
if this is not set PCC automatically suggests you to do this afte connecting your phone to PC.
Afterwards when download is preparing it might or might not ask you to download and run sony update engine. may be you need not run this.
When download is started pcc gives you option to disconnect your phone if you want to use as it is not necessary to connect while downloading. After download is completed it will ask you to connect. If you have not disconnected or reconnected when download is complete (with mobile kept on), PCC will automatically turn your phone off by itself and updates your phone. During this time make sure you are not using other programs in your pc or do not disconnect your phone. Lastly you should receive success notice in your pc screen and you can turn on your phone. The phone will take some time to turn on and copies some files like you might have watched in video guide i provided. If there is any serious matter you can't handle or any new problems occured while updating please consider visiting sony service centre.

I installed it in my last .201 version but immediately uninstalle when I saw it's memory and ram consumption. I do chat from fb app. Now in .205 version I didn't even think of that junk haha

AnonD-31388, 18 Jun 2014like you given list, i have disabled those apps. Now i have... morelast time you mentioned that you had not done factory reset to your phone, just upgraded. Have you reset your phone yet? well i immediately reset my phone after upgrade and made fresh installation of every apps i installed before. auto update of each and every app is disabled. I just updated youtube as updated version is so good and we can pick video resolution. i don't use dolphin as google chrome works fine with better RAM available now. As i have mentioned I have just disabled google+ coz i don't use it. Yesterday I installed smart screen app and after wards my free RAM is 293mb. (66% consumed)
