I can't help you out with exact numbers(cz the kind of apps we use differ) but I can tell you the phone has become way too smooth even with all my apps running!
So definitely it's worth updating bro!

I have my Sony sp I have a problem with my mmc, it says that mmc is damaged and I need to reformat it(even though I don't remove it from the phone). I had no choice but to reformat it! :( all the memories I had there.. All the photograps. By the way its my second time I bought my mmc and that is authentic. I think the Problem is in my phone. Geez, why is it so easy for it say I need to reformat it. I am so depress

Bravia engine seems to be working only in Sony album and movies. In others it seems no effect. But the U.I is definitely faster then previous. #. 205 update

This .205 update has made my phone so damn good that I am no longer bothered whether this phone gets kitkat or not. Performance is even better than android 4.1, bravia engine issue has been solved, available RAM space does not seem to have changed (around 250-300 MB with around 4-5 apps open)but multitasking is good enough, also google chrome used to lag initially on being opened on .201 firmware and that issue has also been solved. I am yet to test any games after this update, hopefully they will also work fine.

AnonD-31388, 13 Jun 2014after reading you comment, i tried charging while phone is ... moretoday evening i updated my sp to .205. i found it little faster than .201 but not like .4.1. Is that some prob of my device? RAM is also not much different than previous 4.3. and still there is no battery charging icon seen after few minutes when sp is charged with adaptor. in walkman player most of the music shows purple background.not as expected actually.

[deleted post]Pls tell me one reason why u want kitkat for sp. Phones which are getting kikkat update hangs like a hell. Updates only create problems for the phone. This thing you can see in xperia z which hangs after the kitkat update

If you're guys facing some problems after 205 update DO backup via PCC. Then repair via pcc or sony update service. This update as smooth as 254 just one diference. 4.3 has new features. DO REPAIR AND ENJOY YOUR Xperia SP!
