Finally I sold my XSP yesterday due to bad performance. Bought Huawei Ascend P7 for RM 1299. I feel relieve.Out from problem zone. No more Xperia after this.

I think you should consider looking at LG L90..specs are almost the same (although it lacks NFC) and low price..good reviews!

AnonD-31388, 10 Jun 2014frnds, all are facing issues and trying make our handset wo... moreI read many reviews and learned that if you Upgrade the phone software to 4.3 you will get lots of lag, bugs etc...therefore i havent yet upgraded my software yet and my SP runs very well even after installing heavy games like Asphalt 8. One of my freinds have this phone too and he didnt know about the bugs and slowdowns on 4.3 and he decided to upgrade to 4.3 and as everyone said hes SP slowed down heavily and is a real bummer for him. So my advice to anyone buying this phone is not to upgrade its software to 4.3 . If you did then try installing a custom roms like the CyanogenMOD or flashing the phones original rom. Dont do this if you dont understand how to (You might brick your phone). Since i am still on 4.1 i am very satisfied with the phone and i think its a very good phone for its price.

I installed heavy games like asphalt 8 and it runs the game pretty smooth with a few minor lags here and there(barely noticeable). The only phone i considered buying other than this phone was the much cheaper Motorola G which got awesome reviews from everywhere and its a really good phone for its price. The only downside of Moto g is its lack of external storage.(No sd card slot) This is the only reason not to consider the moto g. other than that i think the SP still can hold its own when it comes to everyday tasks. The only bummer about the SP is its Dual core Processor. Although theres a high end architecture in the CPU's design its still a dual core and you will see minor lags here and there. The Sp comes with all the Bells and whistles of many top of the line phones. If you have the budget for a Xperia SP then dont buy the xperia M(If your talking about M2 it is better than the Sp) If you dont have the budget to buy the Sp then i suggest looking at the Xperia L, its better than the Xperia M but it cant compete with the SP. I dont really know about the other phones like lenovo. Lastly the LED strip of Xperia SP is really unique and adds a lot more value to the phone.

frnds, all are facing issues and trying make our handset worth for what we paid. believe me my wife have Lenovo s820 and some times feel that that phone is better than sp. with all apps which we disable, that ph is having 300+ ram free with all apps running. and more memory more fast phone.
So please wait till next update or just be happy or sell out the phone,

I appreciate your last review. Yes, I accept that there are lots of lags in 4.3 and still it persists. But due to a bit better wifi range I have to stick with it. Neither I can change the phone frequently nor I can go back to 4.1 to regain butter smooth performance because of wifi issue. I just found a way to keep my RAM free when I don't use certain apps all the time. For eg. when i learned that to play youtube I need google play services, I enabled it. As you know disabling means not removing. We can enable again when required.
Despite the fact that 4.3 is full of lags and the software creation is not upto mark, 4.1 also have lags like no screen touch response when laid flat on surface, unlock screen issue, crashing walkman etc. We ourselves are forced to find a way for android/ sony's mistake. We paid for the services which we cannot use fully and now whom should we blame?
We have just an option left which is to wait and watch for all the bug fixing update to be released.

M2 is a new release, LG G2 and Lenovo vibe x are not too long release date :(I want buy xperia sp but it has oldest release that than others :'( pliss help me :(
