Sony Xperia SP is a good phone, i had been use it for 3years without any problem just Sony take wrong step by stopping android update to just Android 4.3

And hey i have been using Sony Product since its name Sony Ericsson. Some Sony product i use previously is Sony Ericsson W700i Walkman, S302 Snapshot, K300i Cybershot,T630 Quickshare and my current Sony Smartphone is Sony Xperia SP and Sony Xperia M4 Aqua.

I bought a broken sp from eBay to fix. Having disassembled it I replaced the screen, then later I bought a new battery for under £5.00. You can replace the battery but you do have to take the back cover off and get in there. There are videos on YouTube to guide you through a complete rebuild.i would advise a micro toolkit and have a magnifying glass. I've now had this phone for over a year and it's really good. About once a month it throws a hissy fit and wants a reboot and the camera is disappointing tinging the picture yellow although you can use the editor to get past that. The cheap battery from eBay lasts a very long time. Stamina mode gets me nearly 3 days if I don't use video and music. And heavy use still manages most of the day, ie, watching TV for 4 hrs on the Internet. I have around 80 apps and it runs fine, I have a 64gb sd card in it but it won't read my sandisk 128gb. I think the screen is brilliant, colours are vibrant but again the camera is poor, in fact my old samsung 5 mp is better than the 8 mp in the sp. Sound quality is great through decent headphones and the Sony Walkman app is very good. The sp has illumination on the bottom that lights up when playing music, a bit pointless but I like it.

First of all, I am a huge Sony fan. I read a lot of negative comments about this device but I just assumed it couldn't be that bad. Now two days after I bought it I've realized just how bad it is........the touch is just the biggest nightmare. My advice: don't even think of buying.
