what should i do to have light effect going on when Walkman app playing in background that is phone is locked, on home page , using another app etc....

Check d bat.usage in pwr.mgmt.
If ggl play commpnent is consuming more than 15%, better logout of HGts & G+Photos.
U will get double bat. Life.
Pls note wen u open d app aut'l log u in.

battery with s... moreOpen Hangouts, goto settings,click on email name then sign out.
Same way check Photos app also.
These two always try to find the content which is not in sync.

Thats it..i had enough with this phone..im gonna sell it..poor wifi reception,unresponsive touch screen,crappy camera and the worst part is..its lagging like hell..worst phone ive ever had..pffft

Do not update to latest version.it is more worse than previous 4.3. My experience with current version is
1. Camera clarity reduced
2. Screen clarity reduced
3. Heating increased
4. Battery drains quickly
5. In call light problem not solved
6. Total Ram memory reduced
7. All other bugs will find in coming days
Sony is not capable of giving a good update to XSP. Better we look for another model like moto G

battery with screen time on is juz abt 5 hrz o so! 4.3 s gud bt battery n performance s totally compromised!
brot tis fone fr performance n battery bt nw d Main intention f t is ruined by d update! cam s nt even worth t cz I wz a lumia user n lumia fr cam s alwz d boss!
overall opinion gotta manage smehw wit tis device!

If you are facing battery drain, Please logout Hangouts, OFF location access and Photos (Google+) app.
I did it and got long battery life.
Google Apps sucks.
Pls let me know for more queries.

Even after the new update, the phone gets heated up very soon. BE2 is still not working on albums. Experiencing lag here and there but not as it was before. No difference in battery. Drains fast. No changes in RAM management too. Only have around 163 Mb of Ram or less. Illuminating light works fine.

Guys u can def go for the 201 update.......RAM usage is a bit more but the phone runs like a dragster......a must update
