This is a detailed review of the 4.3 update but before that I would recommend you to repair your xsp with the sony pc companion, it will eradicate the sluggishness of your phone.
Pros:
wifi range issue fixed
static black screen problem while unlocking is fixed
Android 4.3 features
overall UI smoothness increased a lot
Matured User Interface
Nice Font
Fantastic Phonebook
Better Walkman app and Camera app with improved user experience
Cons:
Only con which affects user experience i found is during installing or uninstalling an app the system becomes unresponsive and does not react to touches immediately
Bugs:
LED light does not blink properly in walkman app
After locking the screen if you press the lock button immediately to unlock, it does not respond
Screen does not go to sleep when connected to a charger if you manually unlock it
Performance:
Benchmark scores are improved but that does not tell the whole story. The system smoothness is just awesome.
Gaming performance same as before, that means very good
I did not experienced any call quality changes either.

Guys I have updated my phone to 4.3, but i feel that my phone gets warm even while playing candy crush or while browsing. Is this happening with those who updated to 4.3?

Hey guys..!!! I've got a notification abt 4.3 update in pc companion(Bangalore)c5302..!!!!! Bt can some one help me out....!!!!! Should I update my phone or not...???? Coz many ppl tell tat the phone lags on 4.3 n lights doesn't work...!!!! plz let me kno if either 4.1.2 or 4.3 is better...!!!

Got update notification in PC companion but cant update now..battery level is less than 20%. my bad...:(

Which means there is no option in settin... moreunfortunately there is no setting to fix the illuminating lights when playing music thru walkman. this is a common problem after the update, the light would not illuminate to diff color or doesn't change even when the music cover changes it's color in the screen and also it is just plain steady light it doesn't blink. I had this problem until i found the solution.
you just need to go back to pc companion and choose repair, after repair the LED light works properly now and it illuminates to the corresponding color of the music cover. the only problem remains is that the phone still lags/hangs a lot of time.

Not happy, within 6 weeks of purchasing, it has been in twice for repair. Second time within 3 days of getting it back from repair. Both times, same issue, top of screen stops responding.

Am Allan in Kenya and I must admit that #Sony did not disappoint my patience for the update. The new UI is a killer!! Plus, i havent noted any bug nor a lag!!!!
