Speed got slow after update 4.3...wifi range is poor as before...camera has still poor quality...Sony please update these in next update....

Lahore Pakistan , Got the Update via Sony PC Companion , It does not show the update in phone via wifi etc though.
Updating the device will post the feedback soon :)

So if you buy this not (installed with 4.1.2), i can assure that you will not loos rather you will fall in love with this phone...and sony will surely resolve the issues raised in 4.3 very soon.

I am there is problem of use music of walkman, there is difference of volume between song.
Example of : song 1 = big voice
song 2 = small voice
song 3 = big voice
song 4 = small voice and so on
but if me activate Clear Audio +, volume rather well-balanced between song.
so I cannot use arrangement of manual because problem.
do there is understanding this problem?

I don't know why many people complain about 4.3 update, my phone work great after update, I think just bravia engine not work in images gallery but still work on video player

For those who are suffering with issues after updating to "4.3" --> Just do a repair using "PC Companion". Before do the repair, MAKE SURE you backup all the data. The repair will erase all your data. Use PC companion to create a backup file. After the repair was done, my SP is working fine. No touch problem, No lags and device is no more slow.
*NOTE: You need to download and install apps again that you downloaded after purchasing the phone. Restore the backup using PC companion and the backup file. Good luck!

I just gonna buy this phone, but all review has getting worse day by day, I think I will stick to the Moto G instead of XSP.. Sorry Sony, You dissapoint me a bit.. :)

I flashed manually my Xperia SP with Generic Central European 4.3, since my country (Portugal) will get the update very late, and now i can only say... I HAVE A NEW SMARTPHONE !!
Its amazing how a update changed the my smartphone so much. Wi-fi range fixed, a lot more smoothness on the screens and options, a lot faster, new options, camera now is amazing, battery stamina mode now last longer, and a lot more.. this is EXCELENT :)

AnonD-232974, 17 Feb 2014From Bangladesh: Today I went to official sony center t... moreI'm from Bangladesh too. u r right about the system sluggishness during the installation or removal of an app which never happened in 4.1.2. there's some major ironing is due to amend this. but this update removed annoying static black screen problem when unlocking, wifi issue is less severe now, learned new tricks like brush shot in camera and UI matured a lot(app drawer, font looks). I think we should use it and give feedback to Sony to make this firmware better

From Bangladesh:
Today I went to official sony center to roll back to 4.1.2 (12.0.A.2.254) because of having many bugs in 4.3. Sony official said that this update is just like beta version, and sony will collect reviews for 4.3 version. And after resolving the problems they will finally release a update which which will correct the issues...And for that we have to wait few months. I'm now back again with my 4.1.2, some of the problems I found in 4.3 are:
1. illumination bar does not blink correctly while in Walkman (especially when the volume is full).
2. Bravia engine 2 is not working at all. Its presence doesn't make any difference in the image quality. I installed 4.3 for 3 times to resolve the issue. but nothing happened.
3. Image processing quality of new camera app is not good at all...images are too much grainy.
4. The system becomes so slow when I install some of my apps. That didn't happened in 4.1.2
5. Fonts are not same in some section and there are spacing problems in the lines. You will see it especially when installing/uninstalling apps. The name and the animation bar just mixed up.
Although sony official said that it is not the final version, nevertheless, I feel the best matching for SP is 12.0.A.2.254 still now...u will get the best service from it. Even that official said same that this also happened in the earlier versions of sony ericsson mobile. Also they said that I should not update it by myself, when the final version will come just take the phone to the sony center and they will give complete and fresh firmware. Now I'm happy with my original firmware. :D
Those bought your XSP from sony official store will have the advantage of rolling back to your original firmware. They will reinstall them from their database with free of cost.
