1 On charging touch does not work it hangs
2 Heating is a problem but u can use app task killer
to resolve problem \ in setting--- app--- running app---- stop running app which is working at that time you are not using
3 camera not work good in low light
I have this phone and want to give number out of 10
for looks i would give it - 9
for playing apps - 8
for playing games - 8
batery - 6
sound - 6.5
conectivity - 9
camera - 8
overall this phone is great
for looks ,conectivity and playing games
it is value for your price

martin, 23 Dec 2013My screen flicks :( Is it normal?What do you mean your screen flicks? like a sudden change of brightness in your screen? if it thus, it normal if you set your brightness to auto mode. i usually encounter mine if am in a mall with different lightning variations or florescent tilting. uncheck auto brightness to fix it.

It true that video record is 1080p , but I check on my phone is 60fps not 30fps.

No matter what people say about this phone but it is a very standard descent phone.A gentleman will always love it.The best thing : it's not AMOLED.I hate AMOLEDs coz they make real things look very cartoonish, you may not notice it as you keep using it bcoz you get used to it.This phone will beat all iphones and moto droids anytime.This phone is made for gaming with features like otg makes it perfect one.There are always manufacturing defects. no one is perfect but that's why we have warranty(most people don't make use of it but simply complaint about thins).

sina, 22 Dec 2013do you mean extended standbye mode control? when u click on apps...its has three sub menus on top...downloaded...running...all...slide to right on ALL...there when u slide down u'll find Eco Mode Controller...

Camera Issue = Use camera360... Do edits if your having low light problems (Enhance & HDR is just fine for me). Experiment if you will.
Video Issue = Use MX player. Used with your bravia engine on. perfect combination.

After using Xperia SP for about 4 months now. I Found some (Minor) problems along the way... But, I also found some solutions by accident and experimentation of the device.
Here's some...
Wifi Issue = Try not to be too close to your router or wifi connection when trying to connect. after you have connected to your wifi. you will still have good connection even your wifi indicator is low. And you can go near to your wifi source if you have been connected. Use location based Wifi. i find it helpful especially when you go home or going to your usually place (Malls, Cafe, and School). it can connect to Wifi much easily.
Touch Issue = Try using glove mode. its solve the problem of your phone laying flat. though charging and connecting your via usb is a problem for some. but i didn't have problem with that.
Battery Issue = If you have your phone On for the first time, have it factory reset/Upgraded, and rooted it. its normal that your phone will drain a little fast. but give it time. over charging is not an issue as well coz the phone has automatic switch to prolonged battery life. Use official charger to be safe. I have 2 1/2 hours charging time. my phone can last up to 1 1/2 day. (Wifi always on, Restrict background data but auto Sync on, Stamina mode on 100%, Low bat mode on 30% , Gaming for 4 hours, Social browsing from time to time and Video steaming for 1 hour)
Heating Issue = Usually from heaving gaming and installing heavy apps. But it doesnt bother me that much. (Tip after installing/downloading new heavy apps try to restart your phone) it prevents from heating and lag issue)
4.3 is coming. But I advice you not to expect much... New updates comes with new problems (Bugs, Lags, Etc)... And That's a Fact. If your happy with your phone at this state better not to upgrade it and wait for some reviews. So that you will not be disappointed. but if you need to upgrade to install new Apps which require a FW upgrade then take the risk.
I wish 4.3 upgrade will consider Illumination bar to pop-up even if your in Stamina mode. (Now it will just blink once. To bad if you didnt see it). I Live in a Samsung infested area so its a stand out if that happens. Hehehe...

vsp, 22 Dec 2013guys my phone has blackout sometime on unlock its a bug, maybe gets fixed in 4.3 update. try to hold the power button for more than just a second while turning the display on.
