I'd got mine on October 13,2013.. I'm actually not an XPERIA lover but after my hands on experience with this device I'm starting to love SONY.. Great choice indeed.. Credits to my friends who's been convincing me to choose this rather than samsung grand.. KUDOS Sony.. :)

its not a 8 gb internal memory its a 5.67 gb internal memory.
used memory at 4.67
why u post a false description :(

Indeed one of the best smartphone within 22K but I have still rated it with lesser stars. Excellent specs, better than last year flagship phone galaxy S3. Led notification strip is mind blowing.
You can play high end games with this phone because of its high adreno. The best phone probably you can get without selling out an exorbitant amount of money.
Excellent battery, fast processor, high quality browsing, the best of a smartphone from Sony indeed. Camera is OK. Good daylight picture only. Video recording is good.
Guys just adding a note to my previous review, I really liked the phone and bought this after much research. However after using it for 20 days or sometime more I find my phone gets frequently hanged. It is something basic with every smartphone but its really frustrating as you can't pull the battery out from this devise and reset it. Every-time I either need to run to Sony service center or wait till the battery gets drained out. Point to be noted that pressing the volume up/down key along with the power button didn't work anytime. Even when you remove the back panel and press the yellow button behind it for hard reset didn't resolve your purpose. When you visit Sony service center they used to remove the battery and do the hard reset, but word of caution as you can't do it yourself as this has non user removable battery. To add, I got this phone software updated from Sony service center after it got hanged within two days after I purchased it. My phone was replaced by Flipkart with a new Xperia SP model and I faced same issues with the new replaced model as well.
I have used Apple and few other flagship phones which also have non removable battery but never faced so much hanging issues. After owning this phone you might become highly unreliable as you might not be able to use it during emergency if it gets hanged, since it has a non removable battery it just adds to your owes.
Trust me this device gets hanged more frequently than other non user removable battery ones. Even when you run simple applications like Facebook, Chrome it might get hanged. Don't get me wrong the phone is awesome in terms of processing, gaming otherwise only IF IT DOESN'T GET HANGED.
If you have more budget I suggest you to get Xperia ZR which has a removable battery and better specifications along with a faster processor, better camera. It is also dust and water proof.

I just installed the latest firmware (12.0.A.2.254) yesterday and i wanna tell you guys that i am experiencing some lags while using the phone.
The WALKMAN and Album app gets stuck while opening and sometime doesnt open for a long time. Same goes for the call log and contacts. while going through the home screens, i feel bit of a lag and stutter there.
These lags and stutters weren't even there in the firmware of .245, the .245 was very much stable and fast while using any app.
Also the battery is draining very fast.
Note: The .254 is not I REPEAT NOT a stable and optimized version, please dont update from .245 to .254 and just wait for the stable release of 4.3 then think of updating your phone.
I'm suffering, that is why i wanna save you guys from suffering the same lags and stutters in your day to day phone usage.

Bought phone today from India.. i have checked all the Accessories like charger earphone. it was written made in China.. i wondered . what does it means..also written in the backside of the Phone.. pls help me
