No you don't need to keep your phone connected to the charger while gaming unless you are playing on a low battery and don't want to lose your charge fast! But you can nonetheless play games while charging or while the phone isn't charging, it won't affect the performance in any way, just the charging will be slow if you are gaming simultaneously because some of the charge will constantly be used by the game!
Also if you play certain games like NFS Most Wanted, even if your phone is connected to charger, your battery might drop, it's the apps falut not your phone's. That will happen on every phone. Some phones are that power hungry!
And best basic but useful file manager is "Clean file manager"(red and white icon) or else if you want a little hi end one use "Xplore!"

i am really interestd in sp but... moreOld processor honestly? It's the latest dual core and also the sstrongest dualcore phone on the market! It's 1.7ghz dualcore beats the likes of s3, note2, oneX, oneX+! One X+ has 1.7ghz quadcore processor!
Can you imagine, 1.7ghz dualcore is way stronger than 1.7ghz quadcore? This is how great this phone is!
Plus it has adreno 320 graphics which is the best graphics card available only on flagships like s4(lte), htc one and xperia Z!
Don't listen to idiotic people, if there is one good thing about sony that is they use the latest processors on their phones!
And no, the phone doesn't get slow at all, I am using mine since april and the internal memory is just 338 mb free! Still as smooth as it gets!
And once it gets 4.3 in november, there will never be any lags whatsoever whatever you do!

1. hw much is the available ram and hw much we get free ram...
2. will it start hangng up lyk my samsung s advance aftr few months... ( old users plz comment )
3. many say it has a old snapdragon chip so will it b a problm for high end games ( i mean will it hav a negative impact )
