I bought Xperia SP around 1 week back. Before buying it, i heard that the battery back up of the phone is exceptional and works for more than a day. But for me it works only for around 9-10 hours. Main usage WhatsApp, 10-15 mins of calling and 10-15 mins games. Is this the battery back up that it gives or is there some problem with my battery?

hi lately i am finding myself constantly resetting the phone from the back because the screen blanks out and nothing else sees to work except resetting why is this? i v e had my SP since 2 months only!!

my sp heats up fast when on 3g and no problem with anythng gaming workz fine realistic graphs and when i play 1080p videos it was like i was looking into a well thats amazing....keep ur phone thieves are around .. Hey everybody,
I want to know about the latest .254 update. is it good to update? is it stable? i have heard on some blogs about the instability of this update, that the Stamina mode is not functioning properly and also the LED light does not function as it is functioning right now.
Please tell me about it in detail so that i could update or better wait for the next stable update.

The Xperia SP is nice looking and well constructed. Now that I've told you what's good, here's the bad. The selling point of its LED notification bar is mute, it hardly ever does what it's supposed to even with battery saving modes disabled. The WiFi reception is terrible, constantly disconnecting. With all available firmware versions the screen often remains blank when trying to wake the phone up. Music applications kill themselves when you also open Chrome or your browser of choice. The touchscreen is known to be temperamental when the phone is horizontal or on charge. Homescreens lag and icons can be seen visibly loading often. These issues are not restricted to just my phone, the Sony mobile forums show how bad this phone's software really is. The Xperia SP comes with regret in the box.

Stamina don`t... moreBassam, Stamina calculates your usage and estimates the standby time according to the device's last 3-4 days of battery consumption. The drain could be due to network instability as like ours in Syria. Check your battery use as often as possible to see what's wrong. Regards.
