My Xperia SP is damaged and offcourse the warranty of the product is lapsed.
The service centre staff told me that the display and touch panel along with front cover need to be changed that cost me a heavy amount. Also the spare parts that will be change will have no warranty. Even xperia customer care was not able to tell me about this.
My question is whethar Sony Xperia has any policy regarding the repair/ spare parts of out warranty products? If there is any where can i find that (I have seracher xperia website already)?

i just find your complaints very exaggerated and ridiculous.
"wifi will disconnect when phone sleeps"?!? Do you think this is believable? That only happens when stamina mode is ON. Try to turn it off and you're problem will be solved right away.

Just had the phone few day back. Well overall feeling is worth for the price that we pay. Only one thing not on par is that the sound quality is crap for both earphone and loud speaker. Just wonder why most of the phone manufacturer didn't make the speaker in front but at the back of phone which sound blocked during playback of music. U only hear if you place something to act as bounce back of the sound else dun think you can have the sound clearly. Earphone also too soft during phone call. Cracking sound during conversation , can't really hear it clearly. Such a good combination phone spoiled by the sound by the name of sony. Battery is reasonably good and can last me aalmost a day of usage. Hope sony can improve the sound quality by update of firmware.

I bought it from authorized Sony dealers 5 days back, they opened the box in front of me and switched it ON. After coming home, I got my mobile's IMEI registered at https://accounts.sonymobile.com , and even updated the OS via the Sony PC Companion software, to the latest build 12.0.A.2.254
So, if authorized Sony dealers are selling fake mobile, with the IMEI that could be registered in Sony's website, and the OS can be updated via Sony PC Companion, please let me know where can I find the "ORIGINAL" make.

It has WiFi issues. The issue resides both with s/w and with the h/w due to the aluminium frame around the device.
Software:
The WiFi will get disconnected when the phone sleeps (ie; when display turn off). When we turn the display back on, the WiFi wont renew its IP and authentication with the router and will show errors like "Authentication problem"/"Limited Connectivity" (No internet access).
Its a serious issue for those who use WiFi for internet access.
Only solution as of now is to set the sleep timings higher say 30mins, but it drains the battery easily.
Setting options to ON like Stamina Mode & Low Battery, that comes with the OS causes even more trouble with the WiFi, as it disconnects the wifi, when battery drains to 20%. There is option to keep WiFi always on, but that ain't working.
Latest firmware update hasn't fixed the issue. The problem is known to Sony and is unwilling to comment about it.
Hardware:
The WiFi signal drops quickly when moving few feets from router, whereas other devices have Excellent reception. Feels like the antenna frame that surrounds the device causes it. If so, then no way to fix.
Don't buy if you are intending to use internet mostly over WiFi router, not worth if the WiFi isn't working the way it has to be.

I bought it because of the good reviews for it. Everything else are pretty good, has performance, has battery capacity and all, but without WiFi and thus internet, it ain't really a smart phone.
No wonder sold at this price at this specs, because it has flaw..

Tell me the which batte... moredon't use any anti virus and bettery saver just keep on ur power stamina mode. it will surly give u a back up till the day with average uses. bettery saver can damage ur set as it forcly stoped all the system to save power.

M using this phone.. And its awesommm... Fast and smooth.. Camera is Ok.. Better than Grand. S4 mini..xperia L.. Canvas 4..
Xperia L Only TFT screen and its display not brighter than sp..
just check on Youtube guyes..
Sp is gud phone.. 720 HD display. And bravia Engine 2.. And display quality is very gud.. Better than other fone in same range..
Grand is dabba.. Hangy pangy... Low resolation..
Slow procesr.. Cortexx :D
