seenu, 15 Sep 2013Friends iam confused whether to buy Xperia SP or Iphone 4s ... moreFor music go for both 4s or this with its walkman. Battery wise this could go for 2 half day straight just with music and telephony (I don't know with 4s, though). Camera wise choose both s3 or 4s. But for posh look I prefer 4s as it has brushed steel finish than frosted finish in this one and glass at back which feel more premium (and fingerprints magnet instead this one has)

I have one that i have been using for a week, The main problem with my sony sp is the glitchy screen which sometimes makes unusual touches even though I'm not touching the screen. My second problem is when the screen sometimes doesn't register my touches,Maybe for about 5 seconds,but it returns to normal after that.I get those about 20 times a day, but it did however lessen to about 10 times a day after i installed the latest update. This phone would have been nice if it weren't for those glitches.

Really its wow phone!!! Very decent option to buy this phone within budget with great features & powerful dual core 1.7 ghz processor with 720p screen. I got it for AED 1060/- (4G C5303)...Hats off Sony Xperia...Only Camera is disappointing.

I thought that it has an 8 mp ... morebut keep in mind bro, that I'm not saying that the black one is bad, IT'S NOT. This is a really good looking phone in every details whatever its color version. But I'm very impressed with the white one, stunning, but when I happened to buy it, it sold out, just the black one are on stock. The different matter with this one is you get the wow factor with the white one ( the aluminium feels are really standout than the black one), but the back cover of the black version made from materials that seems glittering white(it's the same as the other though! But it's not quite visible in other version), it's not completely that black in the pictures. It's something that can be appreciated when it held it close and feel it. Never get a chances to get games on on red model though
BUT BE CAREFUL! The aluminium are indeed sturdy enough but I think it's made from the same aluminium used in my Xperia Active that still can get bumps or scratched (if you put this guy altogether with keys in your skinny jeans pocket, I accidentally did that, heheh) but the color doesn't chopped off as those are made from molded aluminium.

Yeah, I compare it with my Xperia Active which I gave to my lil' bro(right after his Sammy went lost) and it still can't beat its camera. Everything's seems over saturated. I don't know it's just the faulty of my phone or not as I haven't seen another SP user within my friends. I even compare its photos with my friend's Xperia L and still it's so good far above my phone's result.

1. I don't know about that though, some says that it's manufacturer's production faulty with phone which made within its early launch. Mine haven't experienced that issues, though when you charged it with your laptop charged or using another charger its touchscreen are going crazy.
2. I've mentioned about that above and bellow. So it can be your consideration for buying this. I don't mind though, as I mostly used this phone for heavy games, apps, communication, internet and movies not for its camera
3. I think its normal, when you used a heavy apps or browsing or activate its hotspot tethering for straight few hours. But normally it doesn't happen though

There's nothing special about the camera.
I rarely experience overheating since I updated the software. Before the update I would experience it everyday.

Hey Guys!
I am really impressed by the features of Xperia SP mostly by its battery backup.
I want to buy this phone. But after reading some of the opinions over here I am really in doubt about following points:
1. Touch screen and display problems when it is kept horizontal
2. Camera quality.
3. Heating Problem
Are these issues real?
will they be resolved after android update?
Are these issues only for some product lots?
Someone please clarify me !!!

do you like to watch hd movies and is very concerned about music quality ???
watching YouTube movies without lags..
if you have such likes then you deserve this phone.
:)gaming....this phone bring such high level of graphic quality that it plays NOVE 3 (one of the GPU hungry GAME) with smoothness and HD crispness of 720p,the game runs with full graphic quality and details.As it has one of the powerful GPU ...ADERNO 320 (also found on s4).This make it the best midrange devise for gaming.
It is also PLAYSTATION certified( it can play psp games).
DISPLAY....... we are highly concerned about the display quality! 319 ppi full HD 720 and supersensitive screen(can be operated by wearing gloves).what else we need?? this make it a pleasurable devise for watching movies.
buffering videos from YouTube is easy and smooth for this devise .while 3G network make it more convenient.
sound quality is very pure but not too loudly..
DRAWBACKS......camera is only 7mp but it is shown 8mp and the memory shortage may be found because the user only gets 4.7GB internal(sd card slot is available so just chill).

I thought that it has an 8 mp camera so it would be good! Besides this I know that the front camera is bad! But the normal camera is also bad? :O

I am using a blackberry right now and I'm tired o... morecamera-wise, just don't buy it if you want to find a good camera performer. but other than that, it's perfect! the headset coming with this phone is MH410c, which seems (yeah, seems) disappointing at first but when you try it it's actually amazing! speaker-wise,,, nice and clear, and it's loud enough, but still, it's below par with my Ex- Xperia Active. the illumination is some kind a cool feature! it'll glow when you receive a call like a fireflies, and when you pick it up(or your interlocutors pick your call up) it will glow continuously depending the theme's color that you've set before. And it will glowing with different color when you receive email/sms/missed call or something that maybe you miss. hangs,,, never, FOR REAL! and for messaging you know, that sony has one of the best keyboard out there, and for call quality I can't thinking why so many people complaints about its low in-call volume (maybe they're just a troll, hahaha). for gaming I think you can read my post below. Gaming performance is AWESOME! Play N.O.V.A. 3 with it and you'll know what I've said. But for details, check out my 2 long comment I've posted below. =DD
but really, I wish that I was buy the white or red (this one is really REALLY RARE :C ) version instead of black one, which I think the black colored one of mine doesn't that felt that standout, than the other the other version or black phone out there. Because I know Blackbery user sometimes show's it phone, and if you show this phone in black (like I did), there's no WOW effect coming from my friend, that I think it'll be a different story if I bought another color option. But it's really your matter of taste, though!

Hi there! I am using a blackberry right now and I'm tired of it! I'm going to buy this phone! I love listening to music! I play a lot of games! Messaging and calling is also being ussed mostly all the time! And camera sometimes! I love this phone as of now! Can anyone please tell me about how is the music quality of this phone! And does the phonne hang a lot? How is the gaming experience in this phone? And the illumination bar was kind of fascinating! Does it work fine!? I need an urgent reply! Thank you in advance! :D
