AnonD-39079, 13 Sep 2013Thank you for your quick reply. But I have another question... moreAs far as I know, moving apps to SD card from internal memory was a part of Gingerbread (Android 2.1) and now XSP is running on 4.1.2 JellyBean. Then why the hell did they omit this part of the UI in the first place? On the other hand, they could provide a better internal memory for the phone. For God's sake, the phone supports PlayStation and as far as we know, PS games have very good graphics and are huge in size. Why Sony, why?

Anonymous, 13 Sep 2013Can't transfer downloaded apps from internal memory to mmc. Thank you for your quick reply. But I have another question regarding your answer. Can you elaborate your answer pls? What if I download the app first and then don't install it right away. Then I install it using PC connectivity - what happens then? Is there a way to install apps thru PC (like kies for Samsung) or what if I connect the phone to my PC and then copy the app to my SD card and then install it. Will it install in my SD card? My questions might sound lame, but seriously, I'm dying to buy this phone, but this thing here is stopping me from buying it. And I don't want to regret it later. I fell in love with Android with S2 & want to stay that way (I was a Symbian fan, before Nokia really started to make craps). I know for sure that S3 provides a huge internal memory and also supports moving apps to SD card. I just want to know whether XSP can do the same (But I seriously hate the looks of S3). Sorry for bothering you with the same question, but I really need an answer. Thanks in advance. TC.

Dear Xperia SP users, I have been following the posts of this phone for a while now because I'm going to buy a new phone and this is one of my favorite phones (considering value for money). I have another phone in my mind and that is Xperia ZR. But while following the user comments of that phone, I came to know that the apps of XZR cannot be transferred from phone memory to SD card. While Xperia SP, Z, ZR are running on the same UI, I have this question going on since then, whether you can transfer apps from phone memory to SD card in your XSP or not? Pls give me the real life situation. I am a moderately heavy gamer and install lots of games in my phone (I am using GS2 for past 2yrs), of them some I play occasionally and some I play regularly. So, if I can't transfer apps to SD card, it will be a problem for me (considering that XSP only has 5.6 GB memory free for me and games are not the only things that I install). Pls, check out your phone on this matter (if you haven't done it yet) & lemme know your opinion. Thanks in advance. TC.

Can any one let me know what are the things which have been updated or noticeable new changes (except few apps) in the new update 12.0.A.2.254?

The update is rolled down for India.

so inlove with the Xperia sp. only probs is the loudspeaker ish. overheating is typical of all smartphones. my Nokia N900 is a living example. Great UI for a mid-range smartphone, nice performance as well. next yr, me is getting the 'Beautiful Monster'Optimus G2
