Just to share my experience using this phone.
Owned this phone for about 3-4 months now.
ISSUES:
1. Weak call volume (both using earphones and the earpiece. cannot hear phone calls on noisy places, older models do better. I have a Live with Walkman and its a better phone to make/take a call.)
2. Weak WALKMAN player volume (tried using max volume even putting everything in the equalizer at the highest levels. Again, my Live with Walkman plays louder music than Xperia SP)
3. Very poor WIFI reception.
4. Camera is OK, but not for 8MP.
5. Touch screen is not responsive at times when charging.
6. Heating issues when playing 3D games.
Verdict: Not a good buy, although I expected great things for this phone. My Live with Walkman beats this phone in terms of basic functions.
The only thing I liked about this phone is that it has LTE. Aside from that, this phone really has a lot of problems. Bad release from SONY

i have my xperia Sp ,1 week i use now, ahmm.. sometimes badly connection for WiFi connectivity and phone signal . i cant use my new touch mobile sim because no signal , but the old one touch mobile is better than one . thanks

I... morethere is a small white button just below the battery.just press and hold until ur device reboots.if there is still trouble with the signal,u may remove sim,start the device,shut it down,re-insert sim and start again. if problem still exists, do a factory reset.

Im quite surprised most of you are facing heat issues while my newly bought xperia sp (1 week) doesnt have the same touch, heat, wifi issues whatsoever.I think I just got lucky that or depends really on the unit you've got.
The only problem is the camera quality which I find it already given due to the fact that this phone's strong side is its powerful performance and build quality as well.

My BIGGEST disappointment with this phone is the overheating problem.it really heats up easily.

just changed the camera settings based on one of the opinions and its gotten better... Xsp seems to have some touch problems while connected to charger.. otherwise ni problems at all...

Got this phone a month ago...Not really please right now. I lost the signal with a caller while driving through a small river valley; when I came out the other side; I had to re start the phone; and it rebooted ok, but at the bottom of the screen; it says emergency call now, and it is stuck there; I can't do anything. I was going to remove the battery to reset it, but you can't even do that , the battery is embedded in. I used the force shut down feature, no more luck, still stuck....it sucks big time, as I really need to keep in touch with co-workers, and there is no phone store within 100 miles from here.

1. serioisly no major prob. with wifi conctivty....
2. ya camera is a bit poor in low light but it hs been fixed by sony by providing update .245....
3. automatic brightness is working smootly ....dnt knw in ur case ...

I got the mobile just 2 days ago.. My problem is that when I make or receive any call I can't hear..I am able to hear after plug in head phone.. How to solve it.. Pls help me......

plz note that even smallest shaking will disrupt the photo quality.
