prashant, 06 Aug 2013I have buyed xperia sp around 1 month later my phone build ... moreHey prashant, first u go to the sony update site using google, then download software pc companion from that site, after installing pc companion on your laptop or pc, connect your Xperia sp with pc or laptop using the usb attached with your phone charger, connect your phone with pc or laptop with pc companion, there u vil find update your phone service, it vil show update available for ur phone build number .257 , click the button and it vil start updating. Be patient and while updating turn your phone to airplane mode so that no one shud call u while updating.the update vil take 4 hours depending upon ur ।Internet connection. Its around 700 mb update...use 3 g or wifi to update... Thnks...

I bought the phone yesterday and i'm facing touch problem ,battery backing is good but drain without any use
the wifi signal is good , the contrast it's not that good
heating with normal use , performance is great no lag at all , camera is so bad , build number 257
screen color not that rich , sound of the phone is very weak , illumination bar is awesome,
incoming call volume is so bad if you check speaker voice enhancement so uncheck is for better call volume
also uncheck the gloves mode to save battery,
also i found a problem with battery Percentage phone was 10% after 5 min of using rise to 11% for another 5 min and then dropped to 10% again , it happened with me 3 times.
My rate for this phone is 5\10
hopefully software update will fix this problems but i'm sure that sony never care

FCB, 06 Aug 2013Well I don't believe that much fake.This is not fake. Its true, this is what my experience is all about with Sony Service people. Don't think i hate Sony. I love Sony, this is my fourth Sony mobile. My laptop too Vaio. I have just started to hate sony now, due to their bad customer service.
Ans also in fact I am actually dealing this problem with help of akosha.com.
Akosha people said like they can't help with compensation but will try for replacement of the device, so I am looking for other legal Indian consumer website.

Hey fellows, today i bought this phone so thought i should share my first hands on experience with you people so that this would be helpful for those who are confused to buy this phone.
So, i purchased this phone in white color, must say its hell awesome in white color. Design and build quality is totally upto the mark.
I HAVEN'T FOUND ANY ANY ANY PROBLEM that people have been discussing here lately (Thanks to God for that..;)
i switched from an LED to TFT and i can say, its bearable. Camera is fine, but the camera of Xperia P is way better.
touch response, video quality, sound quality everything is just awesome. Go and buy this Power Machine before it gets too late...:)

Mate you don't need a usb cable to download games etc, this ain't the 90s or whatever. Do it straight from the browser

Been Using the phone for a week or so. Just a reminder to those who wish to purchase the device
Pro
- External Build quality is good
- Day to day task is fast and responsive
- call quality is good
Con
- Battery drain up fast and heating
- Phone was not as good as it was review as it
slutters and lags on intensive games. Other then
that it can handle less intensive games fine
- Camera quality is bad especially night pictures
- 3g and wifi reception is bad
- UI launcher lags while scrolling on homescreen and
drawer
Well this is what i felt so far on my xperia sp. Hope it helps
