But i suggest you better update as anyway to get the .284 update, you have to have .257 installed already (I think so. Correct me if I'm wrong)

So through pc companion u shud update and then it will be updated to .257. After updating u can check it in settings, about phone, build number..

Sony has announced that some Xperia models (including SP) will receive 4.3 update before the end of the year. Does this mean they will skip the 4.2 on SP and update directly to 4.3?

the 12.0.a.1.257 update is finally available in India. I've just updated through Sony Update Service. it was a whooping 705.7 MB update. There is no noticeable change as far as i know. there is no problem as well...

Thank you sir..thank you very much for your advise! I like too much any sony product.also ZR,But i dont have extra money for ZR at this time .Specially I love SP's display,processor and its illumination bar. Now i definitely go with sp.earlier i have 3 sony phones.sola ,p , v.xperia v is very good phone.no any complain.but i sold it.because I want to buy SP.How ever thank you very much for your opinion.

AnonD-167138, 25 Jul 2013What can i do? I really love this phone.Its design,features... moredon't worry. not all the xperia SPs out there experience the touch problem. only few of em. I never had any problem. even if u have any touch problem, you can get a replacement or get it repaired in sony service centre. if you are unsure, just go for Xperia ZR. It is another masterpiece

What can i do? I really love this phone.Its design,features etc.l want to buy itI have money for it.But some peoples are talking about its 4 probems.wifi ,camera,storage and touch problemI don't worry about first 3 questions.But i am worrying about its touch problem.Is it true? Therefore , my dear friends ,.please suggest me about this purchase.Thank You
