SP has better benchmarks in fact way ahead in comparison to Nexus 4 which means it would have better performance.
DISPLAY:
Since I have Nexus 4 I can say it has pretty decent brightness and screen resolution. I am not sure if SP has improved with bravia engine 2.
Battery:
The battery life of SP is way better in comparison to Nexus 4
GRAPHICS: Both use adreno 320. But sony seems to be better in this department
UI: Nexus 4 UI is more for developers in-comparision to sony
PRICE: Not much of a difference between the two but Nexus 4 is relatively cheaper
I guess you can go ahead with Sony SP because it is new, refreshed and a great looking device. i.e. If you do not have any problems with sony's overheating complaints and their hardware criticism.

@ Boy-- Galaxy S3... :)) No, really, I've always given LG a chance, owned 4 models, each of them disappointing. The Nexus is well... NEXUS! :D But S3 has got some cool features that I can't see myself giving up now.

there was a hugh and lots of hd games avaliable for free in playstore n apk files outside is that 8gb is enoff? shit i will wait for zr ot some 32gb inbuld memory models sony did right jod in wrong way!

I am using XPERIA SP. Battery is poor. It is taking so much time to charge but it is draining soon. Some times the back side of the phone is getting heat. Rear Camera quality is also poor especially in indoors and low lights. Front cam is VGA. Display is good it has Bravia Engine. Sound clarity is also good. LED lights gives some attraction to phone. Good hardware. We can't keep our favorite images as home screen wallpaper with its actual size. We have to crop more when we compare to other smartphones. Looks stylish. I don't know what is the problem with battery. Actually it has 2370MAH battery but, it is behaving like worst battery.

SP(msm8960t) has krait 300 micro-architecture processor(same as found on newer snapdragon 600 processor or dual core version of galaxy s4 I9505) as oppose to last generation krait 200 micro-architecture processor(nexus 4,xperia t,xperia z). which give increase in performance by 15%-20% per clock.Hence top of chart in benchmark despite of dual core variant.

Hello nikki It is a good phone at this price range. don't worry about music quality ,there are plenty of equaliser apps in play store.or try power amp music player. it will provide best music quality. but you can't find equaliser apps or best music players on lumia series.I personally have a xperia mini and bro have a lumia 520.lumia is faster but can't be used for hearing music or watching videos with satisfaction. don't go for lumia.buy this so

I used this phone for 5 minutes and i fell in love with it. It's awesome, fast and incredible. Never felt like this even when i used s3 or htc one or xperia z.
