do not update google chrome (i had problems with my sp and searched the internet and discover this and i uninstall google chrome updates. and now i have no problems for the past month)

Go to settings Select Sound - Then Select "Volumes"
In here you will have 3 volume controls
1 - Music, Video's, Games et
2 - Rigtones, Notifications
3 - Alarms
Make sure all are on.

butt in terms of battery XPZ has less battery life THAN XSP.....so little bit confused.....

I hav Sm problm Mr Confused ring nd notifications ok but media nd vedeo nt wrkng so visit sony center if warranty den its free but if ur warnty expire thn it wlll take 250 rs(indian) , audio jack chrgs nd 350 rs service fee ur prblm will resolved m frm west bengal Slg user ..

I got this low budget phone as I am a Sony fan. Well it worked well at the beginning but later it was lagging as hell. I had not responses from various applications and I forced them to close, to shut down phone etc. I did three hard resets and it stills lags so much. So dissapointed, I bought it hmm at the start of this year only.

Can anyone please help me out?
A weird problem has suddenly appeared on my Xperia SP. When I play a music, video or any media on the device, the sound doesn't come where as the notifications and alarms are working perfectly fine. Plus, no sound comes from the phone speaker while I am on call, though the mic is working fine and the other person can hear my voice.
Please help me out cuz the phone is just around 6-7 months old!

xperia Z and Xperia SP are not same range phones. so cannot compare. Z is better than SP in terms of configuration and Z is costly than SP.
In Short Z is High-range phone and SP is mid-range phone.
So your budget will decide the phone.

This is a excellent smartphone! i've been using this phone since 2 months and its fast. I have 4.3(.205)and it does not hang or freezes. Simply love the phone.
