using it from 2014/05/08 still working great,battery life is awesome.camera,music,internet 100% ... hmmmmmmmmm... don't be afraid about that device go get dat baby...

Android OS devoured... morewew 29%? and no active apps? that's not quite possible. maybe there are apps running at the background, mine only drains 2-3% overnight. follow guns advise, if it'still the same turn off your phone for 10mins then power it on this will make sure background apps are swithced off also set the brightness to 50-60%.

Noii, 08 Aug 2014Is this phone really a bad one?i wanted to buy it but im co... moreNo, Xperia Sp is a good phone, i'll rate it 8/10. i must admit my phone has gone through a lot, 4.1 awesome only problem is wifi range, initial 4.3 update ( .266 and .201 ) wifi range issue resolved but i experience slowness and lags. latest update 4.3 (.205) wifi range and lags is fixed, but there is a screen issue where the screen turns to yellow and freeze for 3 secs then back to normal after it, it can occassionaly happen twice a week not a big deal really. overall a very decent midranger - awesome illuminating light good for music playback on a speaker dock, fast and responsive, can play heavy games. camera is sub-par but just tweak some settings. watching video is great due to big screen and colors are vivid and bright.
my personal alternative: xperia ZR- in exchange you'll lose the illuminating light but it'll up the specs and ram. my rating 9/10

Ricky, 08 Aug 2014I want you ask you that can you please tell me how too take... moreto take a screenshot press and hold power button+volume down key at the same time if not press the power button first then quickly press the volume down button. if still not working take it to a service centre they can demonstrate it to you, if they tried it and it's not working then there could be a problem with your handset.

AnonD-31388, 08 Aug 2014Dude, Does these dock applications need bluetooth enabled ... moreahm, i'm not sure if i understood your question, so correct me if I miss something, it doesn't enhance the internal speaker because music will come out of the dock's speakers, You can play music from the phone directly to your speaker thru bluetooth or you can also use the aux cable. both the philips fidelio AS140 and sonic gear mini dock has bluetooth technology whule SONR labs android dock only relies on aux cable connection.

What the hell is wrong with sp android? Android OS devoured my 29% battery overnight with no active apps and stamina mode on. Any solutions guys? I am just fade up with this problem.

guns and guys here at the community who loves music have you guys tried using android speaker dock? it's the perfect partner for our xperia SP, you can dock your xperia sp on the speaker dock and listen to music, it's best if you can keep the light illuminating on your phone it will look better. you can place it in your living room or bedroom. try the philips fidelio AS140 or SONR Labs android dock or sonic gear mini dock. check it guys.

I bought phone and exactly 16 days it died and had to be sent it in for repair.
