In this HD screen era, this phone should be medium- low Android class and priced accordingly. 4.3" HD is the medium and anything larger than that is the high-end.

I'm confused: there are no Japanese online stores that sells internationally? Nobody ever bought online from Japan? I understand hat Japan is an island group but I can't believe they are internationally isolated regarding online purchases.

james, 27 Nov 2012I read sony is planning to release soon a direct competitor... moreiPhone 5 is a 4" device, Galaxy S3 is a 4.8" device. Other than that they are both high end in their class, they are totally different. If Sony is going to release something to compete both, they need two separate devices: The SX (or something similar) to compete in the small/light category against the iPhone (and I would have bought it immediately if it were available for a reasonable price, not the ~750euro it would cost me now), and something like the current Xperia T/TX to compete against the S3 in the 4.5"+ category. And you could say that already the T/TX is competing against the S3.

I read sony is planning to release soon a direct competitor to the samsung galaxy3 and the iPhone5. This phone already exists (xperia SX), sadly only for Japan. I think the pricing giving by gsmarena is wrong. It can be bought for 800USD not 450USD. Sure there are sony phones with slightly higher specs but due the size this device really deserves to be called a cellphone.
