My old live walkman had many more problems than this phone! Nearly every phone has a bad batch so dont worry too much! My Xperia T has survived extreme usage with heavy games and countless recharges and is working better than ever! 1year old handset is superb! Only downside is small batterry cant cope well with big screen - so setting brightness to below 50% is a must! Runs so smooth on jellybean 4.1.2. So beware of people giving false reviews on this phone as I and many other owners have never had a problem with it!

I have xperia t, little bit problem with battery, take time when charging, but not take time with using for discharging.

this is a severe warning to anyone who is even considering to buy a smartphone android full stop!! i got a sony xperia model t last febuary,by april i nticed i was charing it twice a day and hardly ever on it, by summer it started dying at 60 per cent battery life, however stupidly i didnt want to bring it back as i would loose everything and by sept it would only stay on for few minutes then die!! it worked however when it was in the charger. and unfortunately for me it fell about 2 weeks before i brought it back and a tiny little chip went onto handset so when i brought it back to be fixed they said it was void of contract because it fell so before they would even look at the phone to see what problem was they wanted 160 euro to replace handset even if it turned out to be a fault with the phone itself and they would then replace it, so your 160 goes straight down the drain... can anyone tell me if this is legally right can they charge u for something then say o no actually its our fault but we will keep your money?!! soooo mad!! sorry x

GUYS ,AVOID THIS PHONE,IT IS NOTHING BUT PROBLEMS
I had so much problem with it since I got this hand set,not charging,battery life is so short which I have to charge every few hours and now I send it for repair after only 16 days I used that,and I lost all my contact Nos because I could not get my phone running ,I could not charge the phone so that to transfer all my contacts to my other handset,
pls ,pls ,avoid this hand set unless you are looking for trouble.Good luck

Anonymous, 03 Nov 2013I wouldn't buy another Sony Xperia T again, my battery has ... moreI havnt had half those problems - BUT battery does drain while charging if brightness is above 40% and for the fast charge to work I have to make sure the usb cable is straight! Heat isnt a problem! For people with battery drain just turn the brightness down as the battery is very small for a 4.6inch 720p hd screen!

No my xperia t working perfectly and bettry works normal not discharged quickly like your xperia t I am used my xperia t since 6 months and still it works same as first day I bought it never hangs never lag never restart no problem at all. Your phone now has some hardware problems. I wish soon 4.3 update will come for xperia t ;-)

I wouldn't buy another Sony Xperia T again, my battery has gone from only charging at night and lasting all through the day to charging it at night and using it at about 6am and at 7:40/8:00am it needs charging back up I would only use it at that time to be on fb, I now have to charge it about 3/4 times a day, even with no use, I can put it on charge at 60% battery and watch a hour film on BBC iPlayer and once it has finished my phones battery life would be on 21% charging..... The phone over heats and shuts itself off and restarts and will not stay on unless you stick it on charge. But you cannot use it because it freezes so you have to leave it. If I put my phone on charge and play in a game instead of it staying on the same number or counting up the battery actually counts down. My phone has been repaired two times and needs to go back to be repaired again due to it still not working, it does heat up quickly but I have heard that is a problem everyone has, but does everyone's phone shut off? There is some good points about the phone, camera, memory space. My only problem with the phone is mainly the battery life and the battery not holding its charge and the phone over heating, does anyone else who has this phone having the same problem?? My phone isn't that old either I got it by the end of December which makes it 10 months old..... Hoping I am not the only person with this problem

Hello guys, now this for all those guys who are lay down there dreams about xperia t updates, look at most popular galaxy s3 it has getting 4.3 updates in next Month Nov any one can guess total time period of galaxy s3 since released?no one think about it I know that so galaxy s3 got 4.3 aftar 17months ,now xperia t got only 13months since released so guys there is hope. Sony dint say that xperia t will not get 4.3 update it is? So guys wait for a while more and xperia t definitely get update 4.3 or may be 4.2 .just wait and watch Sony will do it in any updates.

jenko, 27 Oct 2013only one year xperia t was flagship and sony already forgot... moreAll too true! 4.3 is not for certain as all these rumours come from someones predicted rollout! Looks like rooting will be the way ahead! Remember Arc S got 1 pathetic ICS update - be greatful that our 4.1 update is stable!

I contacted Sony support in Croatia and they blew me off, and T-mobile also.
In my experience. Buy a phone with great customer support regardless of price.
