So if u wanna buy a phone now, then go for Xperia S and if u r willing to wait then wait till those phones are released...

the bravia engine is doing an excellent job(in my opinion better than the galaxy) but the screens that sony use ruin all the fun,the screen is very reflective ,in will lit room u will end watching ur face more than the movie,not to mention the poor viewing angles,and if u turn of the room lights u will see the lcd lights around the edge of the screen.
for people who like watching movies on their phones samsung and htc phones give a better xperia nce.
by the way i didn't try the screen modes on the s3 yet.
sony announced lately that it will build a phone that can compete with the iphone 5 and the gs3 so will have to wait and see.

PLZZZZ tell me because im confused and I want a new mobile phone for NEW YEAR.I really like the design of Sony Xperia S but I read rumours about Samsung Galaxy S4 which was superb. But there are also rumours abot SONY XPERIA ODIN AND YUGA and they were WOW. sooooo.... should I buy SONY XPERIA S or wait? :((((

DMS, 11 Dec 2012Why would you wanna remove your battery now?If your phone happens to get wet by accident, being able to remove the battery could mean the difference between your phone being saved by removing the battery and drying it as much as possible, our not being able to do so and having your phone screwed for life. Also having a removable battery means that you are able to carry a spare one around to switch out even you run out of juice in the middle of nowhere.

I did it on my note 2, and I swiftly switched the screen back from movie to standard to experience those good old, beautiful, saturated colors once again. Especially for the games. So please, stop boasting about the Bravia engine's washed out colors. Because us Note 2 and S3 owners are able to choose between 4 different screen settings, unlike Xperia owners.

Dj yash, 14 Dec 2012Totaly useless device, half the phone not even made by sony... moreto dj yash: do u own xperia t? or have u actually compared s3 and xperia t side by side with the screen? dude, ur words are crap. bravia is tottally better tha saturated oled of samsung. i used arc s and the screen ws better than sii even to siii. now i use sii my gf has siii and i used note from my friend, oled from samsung is totally awful. i did photoshoot with my gf, it was brilliant on screen of photoshop, when i transfered to siii twas dark so o tried to do some touching using pixlr express and it looks good now on siii screen then i transfered back ro my pc, the color everything was washed out and become white. twas uploaded to fb, it looks terrible. so thats how good oled samsung was for u. whith my xperia arc s twas wyswyg. now i crave xperia t. b4 u comment i hope u have basis on actual handling.

The previous post below is absolutely ridiculous, just outright slander! For a start the super amoled screens (in my opinion) are unatural and massively over saturated. The T has a really good screen and to some people better than the s3 as size is similar and pixel density is considerably greater. HD films come out a treat and individual pixels arent noticeable to the eye which produces total clarity, however the viewing angles are a bit inferior should you need to look at it from an angle. When viewing photos or videos the bravia engine does an impressive job polishing up content. Secondly, having a quad core processor in a mobile is like seeing who has the biggest trouser snake, my laptop isnt even quad core!!! and as of yet nothing has been trully developed in order to fully utilise this so the dual core in the T is more than capable and has zero lag or difficulties. As for battery life, the T could have done with getting a more powerful one. Like most normal people listening to music while commuting, browsing the internet, playing games etc the phone will struggle to make it through a full day with rigorous use but with the balance of pribabilities it isnt far off other flagships. As for the speaker, it is perfectly adequite no faults what so ever unless your a dj planning to use it as your sound system lol although it still has 4.04 ice cream sandwhich sony have done a good job revamping it with their subtle touches as usual and expect the same from 4.1 jelly bean update due february. The camera is immense not far off an slr professional camera and also has panorama mode which is missing from the spec and to clarify with standard samsung fanboys, it is better than the s3. Also the T is one of the genuinely nicest and aesthetically pleasing devices ive seen in a while and probably the best design out just now. With the whole front being smooth with no buttons and just a screen its large screen you will most definitely love it. Yes the phone only has 16gb but with the sd slot at least you can bulk it up and not limited to a standard amount should you need it, unlike apple. As for every component not being made by sony.......... Who cares? Apple get their parts from china and still put out a top device. If you are still reading this sony have clearly put a lot of effort into this phone and compared with the iphone 5, the T comes up trumps albeit the iphone has 4G capabilities, and when compared to the s3 the specs are close enough to be classed as the same minus the quad core processor. Dont be mistaken this is an amazing phone right up there with the best and if you buy this, you will NOT be dissapointed! If you have any doubts dont I thoroughly recommendit if you are seriously considering it.

Totaly useless device, half the phone not even made by sony. bad quality screen the speaker isnt loud either. battery not powerful.
sony expects to compete with the note 2 and s3 with this junk hahaha poor effort.
samsung amoled plus is the best in quality in screens , then the wopping quad core in d s3 will eat this sony alive.
And wow what happen to sonys mem stick duo and pro haha its a flop. thats why this phone uses SD
who is sony tryna bluff man stupid phone isnt gud enough for bonds work.

Sooo the Xperia T has finally arrived...
Being a huge Sony/Sony Ericsson fan & proud own of many handsets over the years... THIS PHONE IS A ABSOLUTE WASTE OF $$$.
Seriously & to call it a BOND phone??? WHAT?
It's a not a flagship device... just posing as being one running ICS when the rest of the world is on Jellybean...

Canada here, price $500. + So far working exactly as it it should , no problems or hic ups of any kind, yet! Only problem is me in learning it. Very skeptical of battery but totally impressed, watched a 2hr+ movie and only went down 2%, works great but camera could have been a bit better. 9.5 out 10

Hey Guys,
I have had my xperia T for the last 5 weeks now,
all of a sudden the screen went black this morning 2 mins after using it.
The on/off button isnt working and its like its died.
The phone has had no knocks or bumps and is well looked after..
With the back not being detatchable i dont know how I can try and sort this problem?
Any ideas???
