honestly sony is over pricing their phones and not all their specifications are good but only satisfactory besides they have the best software almost equal to I phone if not even better and also the biggest drawback is the battery its a joke why doesn't sony realise this gives other company the edge over them I mean frankly whats the point of having a smart phone if there isn't any battery

A really good phone - the only issue (which is a big one)is that the battery life is very poor :(

keyin, 18 Oct 2012what is the best display super amoled or sony bravia? p... moreamoled is over satured, while bravia engine improves the photos and helps it to look like what it is in person's eye, and the problem with amoled when used in extendedperiods pixel will burn. and colors aren't as accurate as others. and BTW amoled is a screen (others : lcd,tft,ips etc ).
while bravia engine is a software boost.

My bro is a big Samsung and AMOLED fan for many years already, but he is not quite as happy with his S3 as he been with his other high end Galaxy phones, and the main reason is the somewhat dim display, its dark to say it the least.
In addition it uses Pentile matrix, that makes less perceived resolution, as each pixel have only two colors each, not 3 like in LCD displays.
For me the biggest disadvantage is that the S3 cannot display color white, it has a blue tint to all white color on its display, it seems very cheap and bad. Also, a professional lcd site (displaymate.com) tested S3 and hinted that Samsung has not even tried to calibrate the colors, and they confirm in another test that S3 cannot display color white (same with galaxy S and S2).
If you want correct colors and a comfortable bright display then S3 is not an option. For normal usage you will not notice that the colors are not calibrated but you will always see the blue tint where it should be white, thats a problem that will follow you every second of every day.
Adreno 225 is a capable GPU, dont worry about the gaming performance.

hey, 14 Oct 2012y u disappointed? its just if you are right handed, get tx ... moreI dont believe the reviews, im right handed and the first time i saw photos of the T my immediate reaction was "wow, great button placement, finally someone put te power button wher it can be reached by the thumb, dont need to stretch the index finger to the top far side anymore, yippeee".
Anyway i live in Philippines now so i have to get the TX instead, but thats ok also, TX has small and misplaced buttons but its slimmer so i can live with the old fashion button placement.
