Why doesnt include gsm.. Should gsm also because not everywhere got wi fi.. Pls upgrade it by using gsm also..

It should include gsm function also then that mak it perfect.. Just using wi fi.. Not everywhere got wifi.. When in bring to explore in jungle. Where should we get wi fi. From tree? Or vacation on boat at ocean should we get wi fi from fish?.. Upgrade it using gsm also..if nit it just a dump..

Only tablet that does not pause or stop youtube when changing tabs....all you have to do is open youtube in small app browser......;D

Compared to Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, this is better gaming tablet(because Tegra 3 games available without any hack), far better build quality, far better device design, more unique UI.
Then, let's see what Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 has offered where Tablet S fail to keep up with the current droid tablet...
- Stylus with 1,024 pressure sensitivity
- 2GB RAM which will enable true multi-task(let split screen aside)
- Phone call when your phone dried out or internet aren't available.
If we dig more into it on Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 side compared to Tablet S, we'll find 2 megapixels front camera over to 1 megapixel, more battery life 7000 mAh compared to 6000 mAh(not even mention that Tegra 3 is battery hunger proofed in many test in GSMArena), bluetooth 4 compared to 2 in Tablet S, support newly 64GB microSD instead of just 32GB SD.
And last but not least, Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 is chipset will have better benchmark scores than current Tegra 3 and day, which can be convert to overall smoother experience.
If at all we're talking about technology innovation found on these two products, I would say Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 is the winner and the better. Sony's just think about how people use tablet in last year while Samsung think about new possibilities that can be achieve in tablet device.

It can't compete with Apple's tablet on some aspects(like screen clarity since this has last year's resolution) but on others could be better.
Speaking about Samsung tabs there's no doubt this is better: better camera(8mp+1080p vs 3/5mp+720p), slightly better screen, better built and aluminium on half of the back vs all plastic and squeacks, 10 grames lighter than Galaxy tab, splashproof, extensible with full SD vs micro SD, plethora of premium accesories ...

It is not true that this device doesn't have a GSM/UMTS module. I have a device which has a working module and a SIM card slot. Data is working, but no MMS. Are there two versions of this device?

i think this is just a tablet,, i m not sure this tablet can compete with apple ipad and galaxy tab series, but i am very like this tablet,, how about the price??

does anyone know when will Best Buy in New York City will start selling the XPERIA tablet S?? i check online and it only say coming soon... i cant even preorder. i went to 3 Best Buy store and they dont know anything about XPERIA tablet S, then they look at me like some mad man.

in october the 3g gsm version of the tablet will be released on the market. it ranges from gsm900 to gsm 1900, and umt 2100.
