baaaah, 22 Jan 2014there is no voice recoder in this phone rite?There is no inbuilt app. But you can download "smart voice recorder", free app on the playstore.
There are hundreds of voice recorders available.

Well I have flashed acid audio mod, all kinds of walkmans. The bass response is good for an average user and for the price of the phone but I am a very demanding audiophile.
This phone has good sound qualiy with the JB Walkman port on xda.
All other walkman's have the sound reduce bug in tipo.(sound reduces itself after 5-6 seconds)
The stock music player is also good. But way too old.

I am using tipo frm past 7mnths its very good to use but some times while using apps it wil get hanged.and weekly once I have to reset the device or else there wil be network problem.i have to switch off the device and again I shld on it.one more thing I cant download the music frm this device that is the main issue other than it Is fine and good

I am using this phone till 7 month. Works smoothly all-time. I don't know who says that this phone get hangs! Sound is good. 800 MHz processor but work like 1 GHz. My gaming experience is awesome also. It can play asphalt 7 and 8, Real racing 2 and 4, GTA III and other casual games. Only camera isn't good. At last I can say worth buying.

Of course the device is not very fast, but in most cases fast enough. Slow with osmand navigation > 1.51.
Rooting was difficult to optain (locked phone), but worked finally.
SuperSU works;
link2SD works;
64 GBytes microSD works, it is today formatted with 16 GBytes FAT32 and 48 GBytes (relly about 44GBytes) ext4;
Got this locked phone new for less than 70 US$ in Mai 2013, for this price it is perfect.

very hopeless , it lags a lot !
the memory gets corrupted for no reason, phone works slow, as well as gets a network coverage for some service providers , in India , such as Idea, Airtel , Tata Docomo.
i will be Uploading the video of breaking my phone .

simply it's sucks. it's very slow and you cannot install more than 2 or 3 apps as it leads to hanging... it's waste of money and an insult to the customers

Sometimes I experience failing of loud speaker and bad headset ,. I dont know the reason , but based on other opinions some also reacts same as my problem ... i think its clear now ... sony tipo fail !!! :-(

About the sound quality, just download an equalizer app from the Play Store. I prefer the one with the orange icon. It made my old Tipo sound great with presets and even has manual settings.

i have been using Xperia Tipo since Feb 2013....a perfect budget android fone, with amazing sound quality, graphics, n basic user apps...have not at all faced any trouble uptill now...definitely worth to buy if u have a budget set..!!
