i am using this phone for almost a month now.. some of my experiences listed below
Bad voice quality during a call. over the speaker but good on headset.
Battery drains quickly and does not even last a day.
Touch issues only during the time when i play games like temple run.
Otherwise, a very good to handle and easy to use, smooth most of the time and love the design of it.
Anyone got response from Sony on battery drain issue?

xperia s amazing .. go for it guys.. m using it since 20 days n facing No probs.. best at its rate.. as far as d touch prob s concernd just zoom in on d page n select data.. No prbs Wyl txtn.. it outperform explorer in many ways like d processing speed internal mem.. n a sony quality.. a betta pick...

Hey dude, it is fantastic mobile. Sony gives us more then our bak. and issue like a touch problem is due to small desplay like a way that tap is not fixed or pinpointed by us.

Tipo is undoubtedly the best mobile under 10,000. but touch problem is deal breaker becos in touch phone whats more important than that.ppl saying touch issue is only with 4.0.3 ..but im having 4.0.4 still for a week it worked like charm.but now it even difficult to attend a call and it sucks...its very irritating.......keep this in my mind .......................

And i am pretty sure that now that Samsung has launched their Galaxy Music, they will come up with an Xperia Walkman with great stereo speakers.

It'd be senseless if Sony released a phone that is 100% similar to Tipo, in fact, it's impossible. The Xperia E will either be a small upgrade to Tipo and cost more, or a slight downgrade and cost less. The already revealed details (1 ghz processor in particular) are pointing towards an upgrade, but let's wait and see.

I think this phone is great for the price ! Definately better than samsung g ace. Its fast with internet and apps but gaming with BIG apps can be a problem. Itsgot a great processor and os! This phone would be the best phone for £80. I have no problems with this phone exept that if your doing LOADS of multitasking
With BIG apps then it crashes. No suprise there bcuz of the processor. The camera is awfull. Soo this phone is not for people that want a good camera. But overall performance is great.! Rateing from my opinian 9 out of 10

First of all, Tipo touch issue can be fixed by bringing to the service center. Second, if Tipo has a hardware problem, they could just take all the stocks on the market and replace it with another batch without the need of change name.
I think it will be more like Galaxy Pocket and Galaxy Y.
It's either xperia E will be better in someways then Tipo or Tipo will be better in someways then E. Their following Samsung's strategy. Where in you release more than 1 model for that price range giving customers a chance to pick which they prefer. Think of it as competition within the same brand.
