Anonymous, 12 Sep 2012Planing to buy cell phone.............. getting confuse in... morejust wait for a few days. when people will buy it then they will post their reviews and then you'll know that the tipo is performing well or not. on paper the tipo is much better but you can't say anything about the experience until anyone tells you or you see it for yourself.

new colors for the tipo are coming on flipkart. the blue version is listed as a forthcoming item. wait for some time if you want a color other than black. don't compare the lww and the tipo. these are far apart as far as the features and the price is concerned. anyone willing to spend that much will probably want to go further up rather than go down.

flipkart has listed the blue version as forthcoming item. if u want a color other than black then wait for a few days before purchasing.

Anonymous, 11 Sep 2012remind, they can upgrade kernel at anytime! let's talk abou... moreyes maybe kernel can be update but its hard to do it by yourself,it doesnt include in fw or os update,its about market sale dude,if sony update or change lww's kernel they dont need to launched the refreshment product like tipo or miro,they just need to concentrate to their 2011 product,but i still dont think kernel cant be update manually by ourself becoz only a developer from sony can change or update the kernel,remember again this is adreno 200enhanced not the ordinary adreno ones so the performance not far different than adreno 225,but 225 still above it,but kernel do everything here becoz kernel can control how a processor work,gpu work on a software and etc,so like I said before lww may have better processor but not better than tipo in ics perform,same with you I hate samsung but I love sony,htc,n lg :-D

stop comparing the lww with the tipo here and dont say that the tipo runs smoother. there is a reason why the lww is priced much higher than the tipo and that is because its much better and smoother. its just foolish to compare the two.

rememeber lww has also 16m colors in the screen while tipo has only 256k!

hello , all the tipo owners can you please answer some questions
1) how is the build quality ?
2) please tel us how is the audio quality in earphones in both radio and music player . is radio loud in earphones ?
3) most reviews have said that the screen sometimes does not register the touch and sometimes it becomes irritating ? is it true ? how is the touch sensivity
4) ow is the screen quality at full brightness , do you feel the colours are washed out ?
4)how often does it lag ?
please if you can answer the above questions it will help alot

What is the SAR rating of xperia tipo?
In some sites like flipkart, the sar value is given as 1.62,, but telecom regulations allow sar value upto 1.6 for an indian phone,, those who purchased this phone,can u help me out of this?
If its 1.62, it wil b the most radiating smartphone in india.

the superdeal on homeshop18 is indicative of the price at which this phone will be available after some time. 8k is the price at which sony would also want to sell it to give some competition to the galaxy y. the uk pricing of the phones is the same. the current price is something at which people would want to invest a bit more and get some other handset.. which would be a disadvantage for sony.

AnonD-19086, 11 Sep 2012sorry for late reply dude,because one day ago i have bit bu... moreremind, they can upgrade kernel at anytime! let's talk about real chipset capabilities?? which one is better?? surely lww! especially on ics advanced apis for games adreno 205 do a 4 times better job, and 1GHz won't get a small lag on ics! i have lww and it never lagged while her some users said that there is some lags on multitasking! maybe both have the same chance as armv7 , but however let's respect sony mainly because they provide jellybean to their 140$ or 180$ phone while ace 2 300$ from samsung won't get a small taste of ice cream sandwich!
