Neither sony officially announce it,nor other website has any information abt it launching,so most important question is that frm where gsmarena got this information.i think gsmareana should clarify all these doubt.

Frndzzz Its totally confusing. gsmarena states that tipo has been released. but none of the online retailers says so. even the uk retailer carphone warehouse states that tipo will be available in september. and in sony mobile website it also states tipo as coming soon. check out this link if you dont beleive me:-

me too anxiously waiting 4 tipo. And i called to the customer care of Sony(india). But they were saying that there is no scheduled date 4 tipo till today(12-8-2012), im feeling saaaaad!

I hope it can help u guys. It has already released at August 1 in my country.
Something you might want to know. As below
1. Rom is 700MB for apk installation. After u turn on the phone, there is only 500mb avallible. (It already used 194mb)
(2.5GB:user avalilible/700MB-194MB:apk installation)
2.Multi touch test : 2 points (it might be a deal breaker if you want to play some multi touch game)
Normal use is ok,for example net surfing, 2 fingers zoom in.
3.Speaker quality is "ok" and it's loud enough
for hearing.
it's a good bargain for an entry android smartphone,System and net sufing are smooth.(don't compare with 2 core or 4 core or other high price smartphone)
in the end, sorry for my poor English, I've try my best, Becaz I also tried to find tipo's review on the internet,I hope it can help u guys.

Jean, 10 Aug 2012sony ericsson live with walkman is way better in everything!!We both know live is awesome but tipo has just been released in UK and it can be bought for same price as galaxy y and processor is better than desire c. So that makes this another Sony phone thats the best in its price range.
